Great stay
It was good
My 2nd stay in this hotel and was very happy with it.
This Hilton was very centrally located at about 30 minutes taxi ride from the passenger ferry terminal. It was on top of a huge commercial / entertainment shopping complex which offered all you may need as a visitor, business or pleasure wise.
Staff had been attentive and efficient from door to counter. Check-in took just a few minutes and I was in my preferred room on high floor. Spacious with big king bed and big flat panel TV providing local/Hong Kong/ and selected international programs. Large bathroom offered classic bathtub and separate shower and toilet booths. Very tidy and clean with everything working well to the high Hilton standard, The real surprise was its free high speed WiFi connection which seemed not restrictive at all where you may connect with the world through your usual app including google, WhatsApp, instagram, YouTube etc., and websites usually restricted or blocked.
A popular hotel also for local citizens due to its many restaurants and entertainment offerings. However it maintained a very cozy and quiet environment once you reached the floors of guest rooms. A dummy room card was already in the main switch slot which pre-cooled the room to a very comfortable temperature in this warm and somehow humid weather.
Breakfast started at 6:30am at the cafe which was spilt into two main dining areas tailored to suit western and Asian patrons. Ample selection of prepared food items as well as open kitchen for a wide variety of both western and Chinese/Asian dishes.
All of the above would cost you around USD100 taxes included. A very good deal indeed. Highly recommended.
Last weekend, my friend and I traveled to Zhongshan. After looking around for a long time, we finally booked Hilton Zhongshan Lihe, as we always feel more assured with international chain hotels.
We had a wonderful experience checking in at the hotel. All the staff were warm and welcoming with big smiles, especially Summer and Ivy who handled our check-in. They patiently and thoroughly introduced all the hotel's services and details, making us feel right at home, and even kindly upgraded our room for free.
The room was well-equipped with all excellent facilities, making our stay during this Zhongshan trip extremely satisfying. I highly recommend this hotel to everyone!
