Most enjoyable stay.
Pros:

Love, love, love the location of this hotel. The staff is super professional, very welcoming and well suited to the hotel. Wish the room was a little larger, but, this is Venice!!! Breakfast was exceptional. Would easily return and or recommend to others.

Cons:

Cheaper taxi to reach the hotel. not the hotel's fault. But, Venice water taxis can be a real ripoff.

Very nice location and luxurious hotel

Nice and spacious room. Kind people

Cons:

The room had absolutely no windows nor sun light . Inability to open any window. Another small details is that the blue light of the air cond screen on the wall is too bright and disturbed our sleep during the night. We had to figure out how to cover it wi the a small towel pinned on it

Not the LHW experience we expected.
Pros:

The location and having a dock was great.

Cons:

“Historic” is one thing, but this hotel is tired. Surprising for a LHW property. The amenities in the room were minimal at best.

Delightful stay, our best hotel in 4 visits to Venice and would recommend to anyone.
Pros:

Positioning was excellent for us just 4 minutes from Rialto and less than 10 to San Marco but still in a very quiet location next to a small canal and lots of good restaurants and bars as well as shops a perfect blend. The whole hotel is beautifully decorated as befitting a 'Small Hotels of the World' luxurious but never over the top. Our room was spacious and very well appointed overlooking the canal and also had a beautiful marble bathroom with superb shower. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of variety. The staff were all superb, efficient and very knowledgeable about good local restaurants so that we could avoid the tourist traps and seek out good quality and value.

No downsides at all!

This is a wonderful hotel. The staff are extremely helpful and go out of their way to ensure your stay is perfect. The room was spacious and very clean with a comfortable bed and the breakfast was excellent with a wide choice at the buffet. The location is also perfect as it is right in the centre easy walking distance from the Rialto and St Marks Sq. Thank you to all the wonderful staff for making our stay perfect
