Great location, room out dated.
Pros:

The property is actually inside the QT. The staff were friendly and the location is great.

Cons:

The rooms are very tired, with a mix and match of furniture. Unlike all the images there was no sofa in our room. The worst was the mattress, this had to be the worse mattress I have experience at this level.

Pleasant but not ideal.
Pros:

Location is good.

Cons:

The lighting, deco is too dark. Shower not enclosed, need all the towels to dry floor. They offer incentive to recycle towels but they are needed for the floor.

Pros:

Convenient location, friendly staff and clean but a bit worn eg the carpet and bathroom

Cons:

Honestly not worth the money. There was nothing extra for the price, cheap coffee, one ply toilet paper etc. The bed was uncomfortable and a weird erratic noise came from the ventilation. There was no comfy place to sit even though there was plenty of room for a lounge chair or sofa. Instead there was an ottoman style bench that we used for the bags. I was disappointed.

5 star at its best!
Pros:

Staff, restaurant, breakfast, room, amenities, everything was spectacular! At the price we paid, it felt like a bargain! We were in NZ for over 3 weeks, best hotel we stayed in! Everyone exceeded beyond our high expectations, and I’m not one for being easily pleased!

Pros:

Fabulous room, great central place, close to everything, breakfast was great. And they fulfilled our request for an extra bed, and was great to walk in and it was made and ready to be slept in.

Cons:

Only a little gripe, was we actually had no idea where the hippo restaurant for breakfast was, we walked around the hotel for a while until a lovely member of staff told us where it was.

Great quirky hotel-I’m looking forward to returning
Pros:

Location and easy access when arriving by car.
We were able to have an early checkin which enhanced our stay.
Amazing art everywhere and super helpful staff
Comfortable room with good facilities and amenities. Great restaurant with near harbour views

Cons:

Really would have liked access to a luggage trolley as we arrived with a lot of luggage.🧳
