The view , beach and the staff
The beach was to far from the casita
Excellent
It was breathtaking! Most amazing views. Such a beautiful casita. Loved everything about it.
Is a beautiful place. It’s relaxing
I loved the place, the staff, the service, and the casita. The staff; Xiomara, Luis, Manuel, Rafael, and the american guy (dont remember his name) were extremelly helpful and display excellent customer service kills. Cleaning services were great.
My observations:
The casitas bathroom need some maintenance at the showers, we had a party of 3, but e everythig at the casita were for two. We notice that cleaning service were done in the morning, however someone went inside the casita later on without a notice.
We didn't have breakfast, however we did have lunch at the restaurant. We think that the menu should be expanded to have more fruts. And vegetarian options.
Everything!!! It was soooo beautiful!! 😍😍😍😍

Nada, todo me gustó
Great resort!
We are probably not the "typical crowd" for a resort like this, we splurged on a few days here as part of a honeymoon trip this summer. We chose this place specifically for the mini private pools on the balconies at each Casita - while they are beautiful in the photos, ours (casita 12) was kind of gross in person, which was disappointing. I think it's a landscaping issue - there are beautiful Ficus trees that grow over the pools but the Ficus are being eaten by these massive beetles that jump into the pool, so while you're trying to relax you just end up getting divebombed by bugs the size of your thumb. When you consider that all additional amenities cost extra (dining, experiences, spa/massage, even the wine in the minibar), it really makes it less worth the nightly price if you can't enjoy the patio around the casita, either. The beach at the property isn't recreational, so you have to drive (I recommend Jobos or Pozo Teodoro). I will say, the staff were EXCEPTIONALLY kind - the bellhops were so friendly, the woman in the front office was so nice, etc, so the service and everything else we experienced was excellent. It is a beautiful property other than the bugs and in a great location.
Ideal place for rest and relaxation.
Beautiful!
Beautiful location
Remote, no gym, no transportation available unless you get a taxi. Only one restaurant on site and the food was average
We had a great time at the Royal Isabela. We were there for four nights and the property and staff were amazing. We checked in with Lizabeth and she gave us all the information related to the property that we needed. Our Casita was very spacious and the view from the private deck and pool was wonderful. We immediately relaxed and were so happy we chose the property for our stay. There are very few casitas and the hotel was not booked. If you are looking for a property with a lot of action and people this is not it.
We are fairly active people so we went on two excursions during our stay and both were with Jan, who was a great guide. He took us on a four hour E-Bike ride (almost all of it off road but on the property) one day and a two hour kayak trip the next day. Jan knew all about the area (grew up on PR), the fruits, the history, and even climbed a coconut tree to get a couple coconuts for water on the E-Bike ride.
The accomodations were wonderful and while we did not play golf we did walk the course and it is beautiful and probably pretty challenging. There is no need to leave the property - the food is great. We left once to go to a restaurant in Isabella and it wasn't worth it. We did rent a vehicle in San Juan and drove to the resort which was not bad. I would do this again.
Amazing
