Refinery Hotel

Refinery is my go-to hotel in NYC. Great rooms, super clean, good location, nice Jazz Bar, wonderful rooftop and super staff. Just go. You’ll see.

Wonderful location, unique hotel, fantastic service and live Jazz in lobby bar - what could be better. This is our third visit to Refinery and we will be back!

Great room and great service. Very accommodating and helpful staff. The 3 restaurant/bars are all great and offer different vibes. I thought the value was great for what we paid (we did the breakfast voucher that worked great).
The location felt very safe and was walkable to some major tourist/non-tourist stuff.
Everything was kept very clean.

We always have such a wonderful time staying at the Refinery in NYC. From the moment you walk through the doors in the lobby, the warmth and smell is so comforting and welcoming. Rooms are always clean. Staff is wonderful! The hotel is very walkable to a lot of NYC hotspots.

very noisy room. even at the 11th floor you feel like on the street. the windows do not isolate from the overall noise of NY. A part of that the room size is quite good , furniture are old and we are far away from a 5 stars hotel

Our fourth annual visit to The Refinery and we were not disappointed!
The atmosphere as you enter the hotel is just calming as you leave the hustle and bustle of the streets behind you.
The check in was seamless and within minutes we were in our luxury room with a view of the Empire State building.
Everything was of a high standard and the bed and pillows were extremely comfortable- we slept very well- although the daily 30 000 steps+ and the Central Park Midnight run may also have had something to do with that!
If only we lived a little closer and didn't have to have a trans Atlantic flight you would definitely be seeing more of us.
Looking forward to new year 26/27 already!

Another fine stay at Refinery Hotel. It’s always such a pleasure to enter through the front doors, from the busy Midtown streets, and immediately feel a sense of calm. The lobby is warm and engaging, and the smells of santel are a feast for the senses. The front desk staff, the bar staff as well as the gentlemen who operate the elevator to the Rooftop are exceptionally friendly and helpful. This is our go-to hotel while visiting NYC.

My family stayed at the Refinery in December. We had two rooms. Both rooms were spacious, clean, up to date, and comfortable. The bathrooms were updated and clean which is always important to me. The staff was welcoming, attentive, and I felt like went above and beyond to make our stay pleasurable.

The check in and check out process were both a breeze. The staff helped us book a car with a car seat to travel back to the airport as well.

The hotel location is the best part. It was located right next to Bryant park and all of the main attractions were walkable.

We will absolutely stay here again!

This was our second stay at the hotel and once again it did not disappoint. The location is perfect, close enough to amenities but not too close that it’s too noisy. Our queen deluxe room was spacious and luxurious with modern decor. Parker and Quinn the ground floor restaurant offers great food choices and does the best breakfast! The rooftop bar has a great atmosphere and offers the most stunning views. But what makes this hotel stand out is the exceptional customer service provided by all the staff. In particular Morgan who is professional, friendly and goes the extra mile to ensure a comfortable stay. Thank you so much to all the staff for a wonderful break, the refinery is our families go to hotel to stay when in New York.

I booked a stay at The Refinery with a few friends for a milestone birthday celebration and it was so magical. The staff was incredibly kind to us - we were welcomed with wine and the birthday girl with a gift bag, the room was so perfectly warm and cozy and the rooftop bar was everything we could’ve hoped for! We can’t wait to come back!!!

Beautiful hotel. We have stayed at 10 four/five star NYC hotels in the past 20
years and Refinery is in the top 2. Spacious rooms, great location, great service, clean, fun jazz band in lobby bar, and Parker Quinn restaurant was a standout!

Our trip advisor recommended this gem, and we were delighted to follow her lead. The Refinery is ideally located for sightseeing in Manhatten with so many top attractions in easy walking distance. Our room was lovely, large but cozy, comfy and quiet. The decor is unique, and the service friendly and efficient. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Second time staying at Refinery and it continues to be my hotel of choice in New York City. Last time I was on holiday with my partner and this time I was in town for work. It’s in an excellent location, the staff are always accommodating and the rooms are fresh and clean. I’ve stayed all over the city in the past but Refinery remains my go-to every time I’m in NY.
