本次入住行政楼层 安睡楼层床非常舒服！坐拥兰州无敌夜景 距离所有旅游景点也不远 周边好吃的非常多 很多是兰州本地人实名认证
早餐大堂有个男的经理忘记问名字了非常有眼力劲看见我端不了兰州拉面直接给我送到餐位上 可以打包咖啡特别赞
礼宾部的帅哥们不仅帅 服务也很到位 是酒店第一的门面担当有个实习生叫朱凯给我留下了深刻印象 微笑服务 眼里有活 下次入住还会首选皇冠假日酒店
Room with good river view
I bragged to my friends that I spent 3 days at a nice hotel by the Yellow River.
The room was spacious and clean, and the service was good.
I was satisfied because there were many kinds of breakfast.
I used the bar after dinner and I was impressed by the kindness of the waitress.
However, I had no choice but to use a taxi to get out of town, so that was a shame.
But the staff call a taxi quickly
I didn't have any difficulties. Even if I went back to Lanzhou
I will be using the Crown Plaza Hotel.
位置很不错，河景房景觀真的好，裝修有點老式了，但維護還可以的，不過在17樓淋浴間竟然地下水道會返味，這點大打折扣了
The property overall was very nice. However, even if you request and receive a non-smoking room guests are permitted to smoke on your floor. There are ashtrays near the elevator that are used. The smoke smell will certainly leak into your room a bit.
We paid for the breakfast through our Expedia booking upfront. However, every morning at the breakfast I was the only one out of our large travel group of 31 (who are mainly of Chinese origin but not living in China) who got hassled every morning to pay. I couldn’t help, but wonder if it was because I am only part Chinese and don’t present as Asian to most. The last breakfast was quite embarrassing in the way that I was treated. But that said we had a really good experience with our room service person for dinner one night. Also, we had hot pot one evening in the hotel restaurant, which we enjoyed and were told we were going to be given a small discount for a reason I am not sure of.
I probably would not stay here again given the smoke smell, the distance from night markets, and the breakfast hassle every morning to double pay.
Lanzhou is the land of smokers and the hotel does little to control people who choose to smoke in the lobby, the elevators, the rooms. Great hotel but just can’t get away from the smoke.
I booked on hotels.com at 756HKD per night vs trips.com offered 330RMB (half of the price I paid). Hot water in the shower didn’t work well. The hotel said it was because there were too many guests on the same floor… there was nobody at the main door helping you with taxi. Surprisingly bad experience

I've had the misfortune of having stayed here twice, once in 2015 and once in 2017. The ONLY reason I'd ever stay here is that there are basically no other options in the city.
It looks like most any other Crowne Plaza, but looks can be deceiving. The staff are poorly trained, and as is common in China, indifferent at best, and rude at worst (although at a nice western brand you sometimes get better service- not here).
Front desk- staff are generally unhelpful. They didn’t tell us anything about the hotel... we had to ask about things such as breakfast (included with our rate) and the club lounge.
There also seems to be no communication across the hotel: they have no idea what time either of the two restaurants open or the "bar".
We were given vouchers for “first drink is on us” free drink upon check-in, good for beer, juice, or coffee… -when we tried to use them, we were told the lounge/bar downstairs was out of beer, and that those vouchers were only for juice anyway.
4th floor “bar”- Very weird experience- the name of the “bar” didn’t match the name of it on the website or even on the elevator… scantily clad employees were walking around, going into various side rooms… there were more employees than customers, most of whom stared weirdly at our group the entire time… we felt very out of place, like we were in a night club or strip club instead of a hotel bar…
I could go on and on, but unfortunately characters are limited.

Service was very good. Nice hotel rooms. Breakfast was nice too. You can order some chef cooked food ( eggs etc) at your table and they would bring it to you which is very nice.
Great room, you can see the yellow river no matter which room you stay. Have been here for more than 5 times.
