Important information:

Please be aware that being a grade II listed building Invicta Hotel does not have a elevator. 3rd floor rooms are reduced in price to compensate for this but may not be suitable for guests with mobility problems. If you require a lower floor room, please let the hotel know when making a reservation.

Children and pets may only stay on the first and second floor. The stairwells are narrow and cannot accommodate children or pets. There are no extra beds available for children as well. Family rooms have the extra bed for children

Pros:

Beautiful building and very friendly staff who go out of their way to welcome you. Breakfast was fantastic with a wide range of choices. First class cleanliness, beds amazing. If you like swimming,just a short walk to the sea or lido.

Hotel room decor probably needs a bit of an update which I gather is planned for later this year. More power points and improved ventilation (was very hot weather).

We loved our stay here
Pros:

Great location, wonderful staff, lovely breakfast. We loved staying in this historic house which has been turned into an independently run hotel. Good quality bed linen and towels and a comfortable bed too!
