The two receptionists we saw were both very friendly and extremely helpful.
Breakfast was tasty.
Location of the hotel and the staff were very attentive. Room was comfortable. Breakfast options were plentiful.
The decor of the hotel is inconsistent with some rooms more modern and other rooms more dated. The mattress was hard which wasn't a problem myself, but could be to others. The room that I stayed in, the walls were thin and could hear the tenants next door. Also, there were some holes in the side tables where my keys fell down and had to get the staff to retrieve them - suggest they get filled.
Bon emplacement. Très bon petit déjeuner. Chambre confortable
It was a birthday weekend and staff made it so enjoyable
We've stayed here once before and we enjoyed our last visit so much, we rebooked again!
Staff go above and beyond! Everyone of them are so friendly and helpful x give shout out to wonderful Olivia! What a star!!
We enjoyed ourselves so much we even stayed another night!
Perfect location, clean rooms, wonderful breakfast, I'm a vegetarian and the choice was fantastic!
Breakfast always good...staff very welcoming.
Toilet and shower in different parts fo room...no bath even though the description for my room stated including bath.
great breakfast and location
tiny, higgedly piggedly bed.
Staff were very good. Nothing was too much trouble.
Nothing
- Good location
- The lady serving breakfast was pleasant but rushed off her feet as she was the only one on duty
- Awful room under the stairs on the ground floor (marked private, no room number despite being given a key with a number)
- Two separate beds put together (the gap in between could be felt quite badly when trying to sleep)
- The room was in serious need of a refurb (see photos)
- Most definitely not 4 star hotel standard (didn't even feel like 3 star)
- Very pricey for what it was
- The shower was small and was in what looked like a cupboard
- The toilet was a little dirty
- Noisy people upstairs (very thin ceilings/no insulation)
- The room was very cold
- Heavily stained carpets
- The breakfast was pretty bad (the sausage is advertised as a "premium" sausage but I cannot imagine there was much meat in it, it was grey and pretty disgusting)
- I'm not sure when the photos were taken but I was really looking forward to this stay and the hotel looks nothing like the photos
Very stylish little boutique hotel with a fabulous breakfast. Lovely helpful staff. I'm so happy I found this place and chose to stay here. Would visit again and stay longer for next time. It is a short walk from the seaside and Aquarium. We walked to the cinema in the evening and had dinner at a nearby restaurant, too many to choose from.
Room had tea/coffee and kettle. Netflix. I could live there.
There was nothing to complain about. Everything was great.
Areas servedo wit ex oyesh a lovely weekend safe ok
Hotte l deco
Its location close to The Hoe. It was very easy to find and was close to the city centre and only a short walk from the train station.
The decor was a little dated in the room we stayed in.
The hotel was easy to find and has parking (to be booked and chargeable). The room was nice, clean and had everything you need. The staff were exceptional - friendly, polite and professional. The breakfast was great.
