Pros:

Excellent location, right next to the bus station. The rooms match the photos perfectly, with a TV, mini fridge, balcony, free Wi-Fi and daily housekeeping. Excellent value for money!

Milbor Hotel and Rheinischer Hof are in separate buildings but share the same reception, breakfast facilities and underground parking. All photos are accurate, but most of the impressive photos of the restaurant, bar and breakfast area are from Rheinischer Hof.

Underground parking costs €10 per day, although the entrance and turns are quite tight. Breakfast is €16.50 per person, which I find a little expensive, especially with so many good alternatives nearby.

Overall, a great stay and excellent value for money!

Cons:

The only minor downside I could find was that the drawers inside the bedside tables were quite dusty and hadn't been cleaned for some time. Probably because hardly anyone uses them, so it really didn't bother me.

Cons:

Wir hatten ein Appartement mit Küche gemietet. Kochen war allerdings unmöglich.
Ein kleiner Topf ohne Deckel und ein paar Teller, kaum Besteck das war’s.
Kein Spülmittel. Immerhin ein Wasserkocher

Leider sehr enttäuschender Aufenthalt – nicht empfehlenswert

Wir hatten insgesamt sechs Zimmer gebucht und waren leider sehr enttäuscht. In mehreren Zimmern gab es erhebliche Mängel, die bei einem Hotel dieser Art nicht akzeptabel sind.

Unter anderem war in einem Zimmer die Toilettenspülung defekt. In einem anderen befand sich sogar Blut auf einem vermeintlich frisch bezogenen Bettdeckenbezug. Besonders enttäuschend war, dass wir einen frischen Bezug selbst aus dem Hauswirtschaftsbereich des anderen, zum Hotel gehörenden Hauses holen mussten und anschließend auch noch das Bett selbst frisch beziehen mussten. Ein solcher Aufwand sollte bei einem Hotelaufenthalt definitiv nicht auf die Gäste abgewälzt werden.

Darüber hinaus waren die Zimmer teilweise stark verstaubt und verschmutzt. Aus den Abflüssen kam ein unangenehmer, starker Geruch. Die Duschbrause war defekt, sodass das Wasser in alle Richtungen spritzte. Die Stühle waren so stark durchgesessen, dass man praktisch nur noch den Holzrahmen spürte. In einem weiteren Zimmer funktionierte der Fernseher nicht.

Zusätzlich war es sehr unpraktisch, dass zwei unserer sechs Zimmer nur über eine Tiefgarage erreichbar waren, da sie sich in einem weiteren, zum Hotel gehörenden Gebäude befanden.

Bei sechs gebuchten Zimmern erwarten wir einen angemessenen Standard, Sauberkeit und eine funktionierende Ausstattung. Leider war dies bei unserem Aufenthalt in mehreren Zimmern nicht gegeben.

Insgesamt sind wir mit der Sauberkeit, dem Zustand der Zimmer und dem Umgang mit den Mängeln sehr unzufrieden. Bei so vielen Problemen besteht erheblicher Verbesserungsbedarf – insbesondere bei der Reinigung, der Instandhaltung und dem Gästeservice. Aufgrund unserer Erfahrungen können wir das Hotel leider nicht weiterempfehlen.
