We stayed at this property in Zakopane and overall had a pleasant experience, with a few areas that could be improved.
The rooms were very big and spacious, with comfortable beds. The pillows were not the most comfortable, but the room itself was lovely and had a nice balcony with a beautiful view. It was slightly too warm in the rooms at times.
Breakfast was good, with a nice range of options. The coffee was not great, but I really enjoyed the selection of teas.
On the positive side, the location is very good — quite central and close to sledging areas, shops, and kids’ attractions, which was very convenient for our family.
One thing we were not happy with was that our towels were not changed during our 4-day stay, even though we put the hanger on the door to request housekeeping.
There is a small spa area with a dry sauna and a jacuzzi. Unfortunately, the sauna was not working properly on the first night, but it was fine the following evening. The jacuzzi worked well and was a nice addition to our stay.
We had dinner at the hotel one night and were a bit disappointed. There were only three main dish options and no side dishes — mainly just meat and salad. The food itself was tasty, but a bit more variety would make a big difference. We also found the dinner quite expensive. For example, our 5-year-old daughter ate two chicken drumsticks and we were charged 80 zlotys, the same as an adult meal, and drinks were charged separately.
One night, some other guests were very noisy and disturbed everyone. We called reception, but the staff member on duty did not understand what we were trying to explain. In the morning, we spoke with the reception staff again and they apologized, but nothing further was offered.
