Good room size and bed
Pros:

Good room size and beds for twin room
Within walking distance to KSL

Cons:

Up to the bathroom area , poor maintenance of the wall paper, toilet tiles and algae stains were observed. Many scratches on the door frames and wall paper were very visible.

Also when we went to the room, the door was slightly opened giving us a scare and the front office manager claimed that is standard process where housekeeping leaves them open after cleaning

However after we changed room this was not the case, the changed room doors were properly closed and the front manager instead of apologising for the lapses instead questioned me many times if the room was left untouched by us . This is a poor recovery after a guest had a scare

Short walk to KSL mall great for pampering yourself
Pros:

We had a family room. I must admit I have travelled all over and that was the biggest room by far. The pool was amazing but thankfully we were the only people swimming as they only had three loungers,

Cons:

Food was awful the first night, we tried to go to the other food outlets but they were closed. I had a couple of drinks at the sky bar. It was very expensive but the bar people wouldn’t let me lift the bottle which made me feel very special

overall was a good stay , room was clean , very spacious . Had a good sleep

just the hot water takes few minutes to function , and no bidet in toilet , otherwise was good

Comfy rooms, clean hotel
Pros:

Great hotel. Standard rooms are clean, spacious, have comfortable beds and a nice city view. The hotel has a great gym and swimming pool. Breakfast buffet was excellent. There's a local food court next door where you can try all kinds of delicious food, and many others in the area.

Cons:

The hotel doesn't have the contact of a taxi service, so we struggled to arrange a hiking trip to a nearby national park. Johor Bahru is quite boring for tourists, 2 nights should give you enough time to see the attractions.

Great stay at The Grand Paragon Hotel
Pros:

Great hotel with great staff . It is very convenient to nip over to Singapore and the staff kept our cases for two nights until we returned. It is very clean and the restaurant is good. Great night market beside the hotel.
