Amazing location. Comfy room.
The HVAC unit in my room. I could feel the heat come on, but it felt like there was a vent close to the floor that allowed the cold grom outside to pour in. I couldn't sit at the desk without my feet freezing.
The location
Breakfast was very disappointing. There were no scrambled eggs or pancakes available. The waffles tasted awful, and the eggs with vegetables were also not good at all. Improving both the quality and variety of the breakfast would significantly enhance the guest experience.
I stayed 4 nights at the Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott New York Midtown Manhattan/Penn Station, paying around $400 per night.
The location is great, but the service was unacceptable.
No housekeeping for the first 3 days, despite repeated requests.
On day 3, the only response was being handed a roll of toilet paper at the front desk.
Promised a manager follow-up — never happened.
Breakfast included but totally overcrowded: long lines, no seating, plastic cutlery. We had to eat standing in the lobby.
This experience does not reflect Marriott standards. I would not recommend this hotel at this price.

Bill Gibson, General Manager at the Fairfield by Marriott New York Midtown Manhattan/Penn Station, is rude, unprofessional, and has the worst customer service I've experienced.
This hotel rocks! So many nice people. Helped in any way they could. Looking forward to my return trip. 😘 clean, service oriented, want to help you experience New York!
We loved the fact that it was directly across from Penn Station since that is how we got to the city! The breakfast was very good for free. The gym was nice as well. Just wish we could have been able to go to the rooftop bar but due to weather it was closed! The staff were all very nice and helpful!
Even though our room was nice, it was pretty small for a king room and it would have been nice to be able to look out and see more than a wall in every direction. Definitely make sure to get a room with a view next time. Also almost got stuck on an elevator so the building could use a bit of updating! And it would be nice to have a refrigerator and microwave in the room automatically. We had to ask for a refrigerator to be brought up.
Location is accessible to everywhere connected by metro and walking distance
There's no free drinking water provided in the room
Location and check in were great. Breakfast was very good, considering it was complimentary, not a usual extra for hotels in NYC. Location across the street from Moynihan Train Hall and access to LIRR and Amtrak was a definite plus.
nice
Location
TV didn't work, couldn't watch any channels...got offered a new room after about 4 nights, wasn't worth it. Could only watch Netflix.
