Excellent facilities as always and I highly commend the food and service in the Breakfast Restaurant
Pros:

Pools as always were clean and clear as was the Jacuzzi.
The staff in the restaurant went above and beyond at every level and should be highly commended for their customer service.
The room layout was superb and we preferred this layout to our previous one as the kitchen being in the living area was much more preferable.

Cons:

The tiles on the corner verandah was heavily covered in bird excrement which I cleaned every day, from the first day. Housekeeping did not seem to touch this area.
We experience a rather dramatic flooding of the apartment which I reported to reception and myself and my husband were actually cleaning it up when the housekeeping staff arrived. With no apparent understanding of english we were unclear what to do and left the apartment (after speaking with the Maintenance Manager) but we both felt that the Reception staff could have been more helpful AND could have followed up with us afterwards. As a person who worked in a Hotel & Country Club I would never have expected guests to clean up, anywhere.

Incredible stay; best staff
Pros:

Incredible. The staff are so kind and friendly and went out of their way to make us and our 1y/o comfortable. Room was massive and so clean. Couldn't fault it

Cons:

Not a fan of Luz ourselves, its a little quiet but the hotel is in a perfect location for luz and the bus to lagos

Sehr geräumiges Zimmer mit zwei Stockwerken - perfekt als Familie mit zwei Kindern mit sechs und acht Jahren, die ihren eigenen Bereich hatten

Zwei beheizte Außenpools
Ein Innenpool mit Jacuzzi - perfekt in der Übergangszeit, und wenn es draußen etwas windiger ist
Sehr sauber und man ist in 5 Minuten am Meer

Do espaço em geral do hotel, da cozinha muito bem equipada.

Cons:

A cama é 1.40 m de largura, prefería que tivesse 1.60m. A disposição do quarto. A TV não se consegue aumentar ou diminuir o som, tem 2 comandos mas não é fácil.
Na chegada acho que a recepção não explica muito. Tivemos de ser nós a perguntar os horários.

A practical place for long term stay
Pros:

We really enjoyed the location, the breakfast restaurant and the resort environment.

The kitchen appliance facility is really good, I found it has everything we needed. It even provide a sandwich/lunch container for our hiking trip use which is great for supporting sustainable environment with less waste. As well, enjoyed the size of our suite, it made us feel at home.

Our daily breakfast service experience was also very good, it really made morning easier before our daily outing activity. Our server provided us great friendly service and provided great tips for enjoying Algarve local experience.

The resort location is not too far from the beach, we enjoyed watching sunset there. We also did a roundtrip day hike trail from Luz to Piedade, starting from the resort, very nice scenic trail. Highly recommended to anyone interesting hiking.

Most of people stayed at this resort are retirees which makes our stay really peaceful.

This was our 5th visit we do love the location, lovely breakfast every morning very friendly staff.
Pros:

Staff were all excellent, we do feel the property should be refurbishing the bathrooms and putting some walk in showers.
We did request a walk in shower but had 2 bathrooms both with showers over the bath leaving little room for getting in and out.

Cons:

The bathrooms our apartment needed another handrail for the stairs they were steep.
There was no full length mirror in the apartment.
Also a simple item of no tin opener one was brought to the apartment but didn’t work.
There needs to be a ramp near the entrance for help with your suit cases the steps are difficult with heavy cases.
