Great location, adequate accommodation but uncomfortable.
Pros:

This hotel is in a great location for the ruins and local restaurants. The proprietor and staff were helpful and friendly. The breakfast is fine, pastries, cheese, ham, hard boiled eggs etc.

Cons:

The property is very basic but clean enough. The main issue is the mattresses on the beds are very cheap and uncomfortable. There were no instructions in the bedrooms so it wasn’t until I was leaving that I realised the air conditioning unit doubled as a heater; as a consequence I spent a cold couple of nights. I’m sure if I had asked though someone would have helped so that was mostly my own fault.

L'hôtel en lui même était très bien mais trop compliqué pour se garer !

Cons:

Trop difficile pour garer la voiture, et prendre une place dans un garage proposé par l'hôtel augmente le budget !!!

Ubicación perfecta para ver Herculano o ir en tren a Pompeya. Enfrente de la entrada a Herculano y a 8 minutos andando al tren a Pompeya.

Great place for a visit to Herculaneum historical sight and perfect for restaurants, train station etc but very basic.
Pros:

Great location. Friendly staff, breakfast was fine.

Cons:

The beds were very hard, not good for older bones. No instructions in the room so I didn’t find the heater which meant I was also cold.

Pros:

Localização perfeita ao lado das ruinas de Herculano. café da manhã bom. Guardaram minha bagagem depois do check out. Quarto e banheiro bons

Cons:

Estacionamento pago a parte e mesmo assim apesar de ter chegado bem tarde da noite tive de tirar o carro até meio-da porque fechava. Tem escadas e para pessoas com dificuldades para subir pode ser um problema.

Good location but mediocre accommodation.
Pros:

Directly opposite the entrance to Herculaneum. The terrace patio had nice ambiance. Staff was fairly helpful with travel arrangements.

Cons:

Pretty run down. Can be loud depending on what is going on outside. Elevator moves at a snail pace so expect to walk up stairs.

Breakfast was Continental but we knew this when booking.

Cons:

This hotel was not what I was expecting. By the pictures it looks like a 4 start hotel and it's even advertised as a 4 start. We booked a standard deluxe with the balcony. The room was small and made to look clean however it was gross. The bed cover "the blanket" had yellow stains all over it as well as the cloth headboard. There was no fitted sheet for the bed. Instead it was a flat sheet that didn't fit the bed so the mattress itself was exposed and didn't stay in place during the night. With that being said, seeing the exposed mattress was not pleasant as I'm sure you get the idea of what it looked like. In addition, there was a sign in the room indicating how much the room cost per minute and per night. Lastly, because I wasn't terrified enough from this gross experience; when passing the cleaning cart in the morning there was Raid on the cleaning cart.
This was my last two nights in Italy after spending a whole month. If circumstances were different for me I would have walked away and rebooked something else and took the loss but I wasn't in that position. Gook luck if you stay here.
