Beautiful and secluded property with great views. The staff were lovely and friendly and the food was delicious. The room was spacious and comfortable but would have preferred some more curtains in the room as lots of light comes through in the morning given the open concept.
The free transfers to and from uvita and the beach was also very helpful.
Loved the stay here and highly recommend it.
It would be great if there was also a gym. If you are staying for a long time you may get bored of the menu, however the chef was able to make some changes for us on some days.
We had a fantastic stay! The rooms are amazing, pool area and view is awesome and stuff is super welcoming. The only thing you need to take in consideration is that the hotel is a bit isolated as the steep dirt road that leads to the hotel is 15-20 minutes each way, so you probably don't take this trip more than once a day. However, If you're looking for a few days of relaxation it's the perfect place!

This property was incredibly beautiful. This hotel is more for couples and my husband and I enjoyed it. The food was amazing. Everyone on the staff went over and beyond to assist you with whatever you need. The atmosphere was great as well. The perfect get away to relax, reflect and restore. My husband and I would like to thank specifically Curtis,Emmanuel, Ivan, Alfonso, Noel and Francisco. Thank you!
Ok so I literally never leave hotel reviews but that changed after staying at Kura! First, I must inform you that it’s a trek to get there driving wise (have them come pick you up) but once you get there OMG! The ambiance is insane and they undoubtedly have the best view in Uvita! Hands down! It doesn’t even matter which room you get. If you are lucky enough to get the room with the shower with the view of the ocean I promise you, you won’t want to leave! We didn’t either! The food was amazing! And the service was A1! This resort is the definition of a 5 star resort! I would highly recommend! The pool was amazing and the red lights in the room really set the mood! Overall me and my fiance agreed that this was the best resort we’ve ever stayed at and we’ve been to other 5 star resorts in the Almafi coast as well! You won’t be disappointed!
Staying at Kura absolutely exceeded all of our expectations and was one of the most memorable experiences of our lives! We have stayed at multiple luxury hotels - however Kura is the true example of what a five star hotel should really be. First off let me stay by saying that the property is high on a large hill however, do not let the road deter you, the property and views are one hundred percent worth it! The room was so incredibly comfortable, clean, and luxurious, designed with incredible attention to detail. The cleaning staff was the best we have ever encountered - they would clean our room when we were at breakfast or out on excursions - and we would return to an impeccable room. In addition, we took advantage of their wonderful complimentary laundry service twice during our three day stay, which really saved us during our week long stay in Costa Rica. The staff is absolutely wonderful - which special shout out to Emmanuel, Maureen, & Alonso who all went above and beyond to make our stay so truly special. The included breakfast was so beautiful and delicious. The dinner options were fantastic. The beach is only a short drive away, and they offer complementary shuttle service if you do not have a rental car. They were so prepared that when we told them we had an excursion to Corcovado, they had a beach bag ready with compact towels and filled aluminum water bottles for us! Never have I seen such incredible and wonderful service. The only problem with this stay is that once we moved to our hotel at the next destination, all we could talk about is how much we missed Kura and how nothing could compare! You must stay here - you will remember it for a lifetime :)
The pool, view and ambiance were phenomenal in every aspect.
The wine menu felt like it could have done with a few tweaks. Given the price point a number of the wines available by the glass should have been excellent and they sometimes fell flat.

For any couples looking to get away, the Kura Boutique Hotel is absolutely PHENOMENAL!!! The staff is very accommodating and go out of their way to ensure you enjoy your stay and want for NOTHING. Food is excellent! I have traveled many places around the world and have never had a place we enjoyed as much as Uvita, Costa Rica and the Kura Boutique Hotel!! A `10 STARS!!!!!! Will definitely return here in the future!
