If you can afford the Bintang Bali Resort, go for it.
Pros:

Hotel location, ease of access different places/shops, polite and helpful staff members.

Cons:

The main issue for me was that other guests were allowed to smoke in and around the hotel premises, particularly near the dining area adjacent to the pool. There is an outdoor seating area that guests must walk through to access the egg station at breakfast, and it was often occupied by people smoking.

I'm not a smoker, and I didn't appreciate being exposed to passive smoke while trying to enjoy a meal. I have no objection to people smoking, but I believe designated smoking areas should be located away from shared spaces such as restaurants, dining areas, and walkways used by other guests.

Both shower heads in our family room had rust.

The pool at the hotel was not the best and not kids friendly however when staying at the hotel, you have the option to access the resort pool located at the back of the hotel which is 1000% better.

On a positive note, after I raised my concerns with management and following several discussions, they arranged for me to move to the resort located just behind the hotel. From that point onward, my stay at the resort was flawless, and I appreciated the efforts made to resolve the issue.

Pros:

The staff very very nice, the airport pick up. The bed so big and comfortable and the views to the swimming pool.

Cons:

The room is huge but the floor under the bed was dusty but my complain is mostly about the bathroom, a lot of mold on the shower walls and the whole rooms smells like mold. I would not come back here. Also they do not replenish the soap sometimes so there is not enough shower gel sometimes.
