Yallingup Forest Resort

We came during a quiet time of the year (beginning of June). It was lovely! We enjoyed many walks around the property and enjoyed seeing the kangaroos and birds. The suite was also very comfortable. The only thing we would say is that the reception was never open during the time we were there - we simply picked up our keys and dropped them off at the end. I understand it was off-season, and I also realize it would have been easy to call the number listed, but all we wanted was to drop in and see what DVD's, books, and games they had to use. We didn't feel bothered enough to call, but thought it would've been nice if there was at least a short time each day when the reception was open to walk in.

The chalet was clean spacious and located among trees with lots of shade and a nice bush walking trail.
The Property Manager was helpful and friendly.

Great stay great location

Beautiful place

Lovely low key place in the bush. Kids had a great time in the pool and playground. Units are spacious and well appointed.

Great location close to Yallingup. Cabins spacious and really clean and had everything to make our stay comfortable.

There was a baby and family adjoining. At 9pm the grandparents knocked on our door to ask us to be more quiet. We were talking at the dining room…. Not overly loud, no music, no tv on. We were whispering whilst inside from then on….ridiculous

Have stayed twice before, it’s a great base to Dunsborough and Yallingup!
Tranquil and remote location

Cups, glasses, cutlery and plates were not clean, had not been checked, had to clean literally everything before use, toilet smelt of body odour/stagnant water, overall smell of property was not great, even air freshener would have helped, did not smell 'clean'. Gas bottles were changed but not turned on so hot water did not work for at least a couple of hours(not fault of management but of mitre 10 who carry out bottle replacements) TV worked for about 30 mins, then no signal from antenna displayed on TV, no DVD player etc or WiFi so no entertainment. No information about area, restaurants, things to do on display, no contact number in chalet to contact management. A QR code on the fridge is not sufficient for all the info people might need, especially for older generations who might not even know what a QR code is. A simple information folder would be sufficient. Would not recommend this accommodation.

Lovely surroundings, great hosts and peaceful for our getaway.

Comfortable and relaxed with an excellent shower and plenty of hot water. Comfy beds and well appointed kitchen for the self contained stay.

We can comfortably recommend this property if you’re looking for a private cosy house in a lovely treed location. The house had all we needed for a relaxing holiday, lovely natural showering products , thankfully a blow dryer for us girls, a nice warm gas heater and decent size TV with internet.
We were within easy access to the towns and the great wineries nearby. Would stay here again definitely.

Accommodation was perfect for my needs. I will be booking a return tip for sure.

Lovely quiet and clean property.

We had a lovely 2 nights in one of the chalets. Loved the forest setting, the quietness of the place. Kitchen is very well equiped and the place was clean.
The only thing was there was no body wash provided. We didn’t bring any and not used to using the bar soap. We ended up using the shampoo as our body wash. It was ok though.

This is a hidden gem! Absolutely loved it! The building is a wood structure, so unfortunately we had loud neighbours for the last few days & they were loud. Other than that - at last a place we will gladly return to! Absolutely stunning!

The resort is in a lovely rural spot not far from Dunsborough, and provides the perfect mix of seclusion and convenience

We spent three nights here - four adults and four children. We had the whole of one of the cabins which was brilliant as we could be separate or together. The kids loved the playground and we all loved the wildlife - tame kookaburras, tame possums, kangaroos. It was very peaceful and we all said we would come back. A beautiful sanctuary in amongst the trees. It had everything we needed.

Great stay at Yallingup Forest Chalets, wish we could of stayed longer! Great location, so quiet and peaceful. Beautiful surroundings....
Only criticism would be perhaps the bathroom could use a bit of a makeover with the shower curtains and lack of storage. There were also no breakfast/dinner bowls in the kitchen. Apart from those minor things it was a lovely stay and will hopefully be back to stay again soon!
