A comfortable base from which to explore Almaty
Pros:

The location is pretty good, you will need to arrive by taxi since Almaty is a city of wide boulevards and roaring traffic, but we got to things we wanted to see easily.Rooms were comfortable and spotlessly clean if a bit bland.Bathroom was fine.I had a lovely morning swim in the basement pool.

Cons:

Rooms were pretty reasonably priced but breakfast was quite a chunky add-on. There are several excellent coffee shops close by at a quarter of the price.

Tolles Hotel in Almaty!

Not recommended if you have a car
Pros:

Unfortunately, I did not get the opportunity to stay at the property, so I cannot comment on the rooms or other facilities

Cons:

I decided not to stay after arriving at the hotel. I was travelling with a self-drive rental car and only upon arrival came to know that the hotel does not have dedicated parking. When I asked the staff where I could safely park, I was simply told to park somewhere outside, without any proper guidance or assistance.

What disappointed me even more was the attitude at the entrance/reception. The staff did not seem interested in helping, and there was no welcoming approach or even a smile. The overall impression was that the parking situation was entirely my problem to deal with.

For a guest arriving in an unfamiliar city with a rental car, a little assistance and hospitality would have made a big difference. Unfortunately, the first impression was enough for me to decide not to stay.

Место отеля.

Cons:

Кажется нас не ждали. После заселения номера разыскивали сами, как и лифт. Отель «усталый», немного пошарпаный. Это не пятерка.

Przyjemny hotel blisko najważniejszych atrakcji

Pokój, wygodne łóżka, czystość i miejscówka. Śniadanie dobre, oprócz płynnej, jak zupa jajecznicy. Wspaniałe SPA.

Nieszczelny prysznic przez co codziennie była zalana łazienka, niedziałający telewizor (zdjęcia w załączeniu) i częsty brak internetu

Pros:

Красивый интерьер, отличный спа, большой номер с удобной кроватью. Окна выходили во внетренний двор и было очень тихо. Кондиционер работал отлично! Завтрак хороший.

Cons:

Одна кофе-машина на завтраке для такого отеля это странно. Стояла очередь. Если заканчивалась вода или молоко, то время ожидания еще увеличивалось, пока официант все зальет/поменяет. Вторая кофемашина существенно бы упростила всем жизнь.

If you go to Almaty for a few days, this is a safe choice.
Pros:

Staff is extremely nice and helpful. Property is very well located, easy access to nice walks through the city.

Cons:

It can feel a bit old school but that is hardly a problem to be honest. It’s a charming place.
