Fab location
Pros:

I quite liked the quirkiness of sleeping on the floor and it was very close to the station to get around. I loved the area.

Cons:

The bathroom was a bit grotty and smelt a bit fusty.

We stayed as a group of 9 and booked the Japanese-style Superior Room because we were expecting a larger space that could accommodate up to 12 futons. Unfortunately, when we arrived, we were given a Japanese-style Family Room instead, which fit exactly 9 people and felt more limited than we had planned for.

We were told that room assignments are based on matching the exact number of guests, but this wasn’t clear to us during the booking process. We had specifically chosen the Superior Room for the extra space and flexibility, so this was a bit disappointing.

I’d recommend future guests double-check how room types are assigned, especially for larger groups, to make sure expectations align with the hotel’s policies.

Good aside from terrible front desk staff. Disgraceful.
