Fields Walking Street Hotel

Good hotel. Nice pool. Between two night clubs, so a little loud. No food service, but a 5 minute walk to many restaurants. Great staff.

It is a property for bachelors. It has cool room and very spacious.

The hotel was in a great location. Hot shower and a fridge in the room. There were a couple of rooftop pools to cool off from the heat. I didn't seem to have any problems sleeping though the lack of external windows could confuse people's waking patterns.

I would definitely consider staying here again if I'm looking to stay in the city.

Great location, very clean, friendly staff. My second visit here at Fields and they made me feel at home.

Boutique hotel, very nice rooms and with only six, the staff is very attentive.

This hotel is in a very good location for access to the Walking Street. It is about the smallest hotel I have ever been in with only 6 rooms. There is no real reception desk just a split door into the cleaning area. The staff is there for 24 hours. There is no cell phone service in the hotel and in the whole Walking Street area, however, they do have WiFi. Due to the size of the hotel, my taxi driver had difficulty in locating the hotel. My only real complaint is that there are no windows in the rooms but that keeps them reasonably quiet at night as the hotel is directly over a go go bar.

Ok, so this review is based off of my assessment of almost every like hotel in this price range. I booked this hotel first and was very satisfied with my stay. The staff is very accommodating. Just give them a call and they do everything from ordering food, getting you a masseuse, and being just great in general.

I thought the hotel was clean and very presentable but when I went to extend my stay, I could not because they were all booked up. I then went to almost all other hotels in and around the areas and found them all to be either smelly, in suspect neighborhoods, or overpriced for the same thing they give you at Fields while not being as clean or accommodating. I found out that this little hotel is just about the best one around period for the price.

Negatives:
It is a bit cozy, but it gives you a king sized bed and couch with table in the room also.
The fridge is a mini and they place drinks and candies inside for a price so don’t think you will have a bunch of mini fridge space to work with.
My biggest gripe is that the pool and the jacuzzi looked as if they were not cleaned recently but since I didn’t use either during my stay, I don’t know if it was an issue. However, I probably would have used the jacuzzi had it looked cleaned out. Also the pool is a bit small to be called a pool really.

All in all, this is a gem and I will definitely book this one again whenever I am in the Angeles City area.

Fields being a small hotel (6 rooms only) does not offer services and facilities like restaurant, bell boy, lobby, weekly events, free rides etc. which many other hotels like Pacific breeze, Score birds etc. do. Fields is right on the walking st. Down side is the noise from clubs is loud. Rooms are small but I still like its interiors. Hotel can use some updated plumbing. Bedding is good also. I am comparing the hotels with same tariffs.

Room was comfortable, bed was huge. Safe was in room. Mini fridge. Only thing that was off was that the hot water in the shower didn’t really work. :-(

Clean room, cold AC, good TV and cable and secure entrance. Welcome drink coupon was nice. Cons: no hot water, no elevator, charge tourism tax, and trying to charge for mini bar.

Property is small but very clean and up kept located right on walking street to nightlife, shopping and dining staff was great

This hotel is super clean and far exceeded my expectations. The staff are very helpfull, I can not say enough good things about this hotel. I would definatly stay here again.

Says no smoking room but feel used as smoking
Also after 2am lot of noice from street as not insulated properlyl

Staff friendly & helpful. Room clean & nice. Bed feels comfy ,fell asleep fast .
