We had a nice time at this hotel.
Pros:

The location was quiet and private. It was a 10 min drive to Blue Mountain and downtown Collingwood. The indoor pool was warm.

Cons:

There was some ongoing maintenance for the property but I believe that was because we were staying in what is considered their off season before the busy time starts.

Very helpful staff- our room door's deadlock didn't work so they immediately took us to another room.

Pros:

Room was spacious and clean. Staff was courteous. I stayed on Mother's day but was not informed in advance that there was only a Mother's Day Breakfast (~$60) avail in the hotel restaurant that day.

Cons:

Was told I had to use stairs to get to my room on the second floor. Unfortunate for those with suitcases and there were two women really working hard to get their bags to their rooms. Not sure if staff helps elderly and those with needs? The carpeting on the stairs/landing was dirty, worn and torn. The handrails desperately need repainting. Felt like we were seeing what really was behind the facade of the clean lobby.
