Lovely place, and lovely people. Food could be better

Pool: Didn't use but looked nice

Dinner service - the staff was exceptional, helpful and knowledgeable. Made one welcome. Codfish good

Pros:

Tudo, desde a receção, alojamento, conforto do quarto, espaços exteriores, piscina, uma experiência muito boa para além das frases espalhadas pelo hotel e os mimos que deixaram no quarto. Experiência a repetir.

a major let down

The Hotel itself is fabulous especially the grounds.

Cons:

This is not a 5* experience! They really need a shake up with some of their staff who just didnt seem to care and just were not engaging.
We had intended to have a couple of main meals here but the breakfast experience was so poor we just didnt bother. Just about every morning we had to wait ages for coffee and on two separate occasions had to to send it back because the milk had curdled. Some days we got a lovely assortment of breads other days nothing.
Also they need to do something about the bar and service. They say they have two bars, which in reality are just large glass cabinets containing wine bottles with a bar shelf. No beer pumps, no optics, no atmosphere and no staff! We had some good news during our stay so ordered a bottle of champagne only to be told they do not stock it - a 5 star hotel!!
Overall very disappointing and a waste of a fantastic hotel. They need to appoint a top quality manager to shake the place up and do the things 5* hotels do - top quality service and top quality staff.

Excelente elección.

El hotel una maravilla
Fuimos un grupo grande
6 adultos y 3 niños
Todo súper cómodo, amplio, muy limpio.
El personal demasiado amable y servicial. El desayuno fue espectacular.
Sin duda repetiremos. Fue una excelente elección

Besides not being perfect, this property was exceptional.
Pros:

Very clean, nice breakfast, reception representatives were very nice and helpful.

Cons:

We had to ask for housekeeping to iron our clothes which was an additional expense we didn’t plan for.
