Glasgow Arms Hotel Ultimo

Smoky in lobby/bar/pub, probably from the adjacent tab room, music past 1am loud enough to hear in the room, no way to make the room dark, noise from the street, A/C didn't cool the room at all on the highest setting, ceiling fan didn't work, hard to sleep. Room is old and fittings are cheap. Breakfast is just a cabinet with a kettle and a few basic things on it (unattended) in the hallway outside the room, without a place to return the dishes to. Took a long time to check in because of some kind of mixup with rooms. No one in the morning to check out with, no one answers phone until around 9am.

Staff were unhelpful. Still waiting on refund.

There were no towels or soap in the room. The mini fridge had not been cleared with half a bottle of wine and half used milk carton left by the previous occupant.

The room facilities had not been cleaned with dirty coffee cups & plates. rubbish behind the microwave & crumbs from the toaster across the shelf. Requested & received shower curtain change first day (mouldy). 5 night stay & room was not serviced at all even though sign left on door. needs attention paid to refurbishing crockery & glasses to suit the 2 people occupying the room'. Not told nor shown the communal breakfast area.

There was a light outside my room that was on all night.

As soon as we walked in, I counted 13 mosquitos on the ceiling, that doesn't include the few that were flying around us.
The bed is uncomfortable. The pub below had loud karaoke till very late. The bathroom was riddled with mould.

The TV didn't work, called manager still couldnt fix. Offered free drinks at the bar, but declined. But didnt deter from all round service.

Unfortunately, though the cost included breakfast they ran out of food for the second night .In fairness I was given a $ 10.00 voucher .

Tiny basic room, dirt everywhere, mold in the shower, broken bathroom door, broken exhaust fan. Everything is extremely worn out. Ridiculously expensive for what you get.

- Room was unclean, looked like it hadn't been dusted in years and the tiles were coming of the wall in the bathroom.
-Floor was mucky, didnt want to take my shoes off, plus the windows were unable to be closed so noise was constant from outside.
-Toilet would get stuck rediling the system for a while and needed to be double flushed before the system would work properly again.
- Doesn't look like it has been looked after in a while properly.

A run down feel, no fridge as advertised and air conditioner leaked.
