Pros:

Great place. Comfortable room Great value not 5 star but everything i needed Great location. Good food friendly staff definitely stay there again .

Pros:

Location I guess.

Cons:

The windows was caked with dust and I spent the night killing roaches so that made me not want to eat there. The place wasn't cheap either for what you were getting.

Mould in bathroom , Strong smell of bleach on check in.
Premises closed and locked when we arrived so we had to travel to different location for morning.

I forget my aipods in the room and the owner doesn’t try to help me.
I located them inside the room but he said he can’t find it.
I’l still waiting for some news 3 month later

Great stay near centre of Sydney
Pros:

The rooms were well sized and had great AC. It’s only about a 10/15 minute walk from the centre which is great. We also ate in the pub underneath which had amazing food and the staff were really friendly.

Cons:

Unfortunately the shower did look like it had a bit of mould but it wasn’t too bad and I just wore my flip flops.

Spot lights on verandah shine into room windows. There is a blind but you don't notice it because the widow is high. Cord to close blind to high off floor.

Basic stay
Pros:

Location was great. Super convenient to ICC and lightrail station.

Very basic room, good for when you just need a place to stay at for a night or two. Water pressure was also great and air con cooled the room super quick.

Very simple checkout process and they also bring your luggage down for you for storage/cloaking if you need to leave it for a few hours.

Cons:

Room and bathroom could use a bit of TLC but overall it was a very basic room. Didn't have a fridge in the room which was fine but would have been nice. They do have a communal fridge so I guess if you really need a fridge there is still access to one.

No lift access is also a tad challenging so maybe not for people with heavy luggage or mobility issues.

Did have a bit of expected noise at night time from the bar downstairs but if you're a night owl then it's not really an issue. It wasn't overly loud but definitely noticeable.

Pros:

Perfecte locatie, heel centraal, 15min te voet naar Sydney Centraal (treinstation).

Cons:

It's an old building, thus the bathroom etc are not super modern. In my room, one could clearly hear the traffic and the ticking (sound for blind people) of the traffic lights.

Would work well for someone staying alone on a very tight budget.
Pros:

Staff is nice and friendly, bed is clean, everything seemed clean really, just old/cheap, location is good, wifi is free and mostly works although unstable.

Cons:

Smoky in lobby/bar/pub, probably from the adjacent tab room, music past 1am loud enough to hear in the room, no way to make the room dark, noise from the street, A/C didn't cool the room at all on the highest setting, ceiling fan didn't work, hard to sleep. Room is old and fittings are cheap. Breakfast is just a cabinet with a kettle and a few basic things on it (unattended) in the hallway outside the room, without a place to return the dishes to. Took a long time to check in because of some kind of mixup with rooms. No one in the morning to check out with, no one answers phone until around 9am.

Affordable and if it were not for the missed items would have been very happy for the money paid.
Pros:

The accomodation is typical pub-stay, with upstairs room above pub itself. The bed was comfortable and the room was generally clean. The staff were super friendly when I asked for the rectification of the items that were missing from the room.

Cons:

There were no towels or soap in the room. The mini fridge had not been cleared with half a bottle of wine and half used milk carton left by the previous occupant.
