Romantic get away from responsibilities
Pros:

The staff is amazing! The pool so clean and nice activities all day. The new buffet and show area is impressive. The check-in was much better than the last time we came.

Cons:

They don’t have nice mocktails for people who don’t drink alcohol and have chosen the all inclusive. Even the « fresh juices » are so full of sugar, they taste like box juices.

PrideInn Flamingo is an exceptional destination for a vacation, whether you’re traveling solo or as a couple. We had an amazing stay from start to finish. The breakfast and dinner buffets offer a wide variety of delicious options, with something for everyone. Our room was spotless, comfortable, and had a beautiful view overlooking the pool.
What truly made our stay memorable was the outstanding hospitality. A staff member named Caroline went above and beyond after we simply asked her to take a photo of us, she kindly offered to show us around the hotel. Her warmth, professionalism, and genuine kindness perfectly reflected the excellent service we experienced throughout our stay.
The entire team was welcoming and courteous, and the hotel’s cleanliness and attention to detail were impressive. I highly recommend PrideInn Flamingo to anyone looking for a relaxing, comfortable, and memorable getaway.

Terrible room

The location was nice.

Cons:

We were checked into a room that did not have all of the amenities that we were told it would have. They sent someone to try and fix it but were told there was nothing they could do and they would move us to the correct room the next day. They did not. The bidet was not working, there was no hot water to the bath, the entire bathroom looked like it had been painted years ago (including all the tile tub and sink) and now the paint is just peeling and chipping. The floors were so dirty that if you walk around the room with no shoes on your feet become filthy. There are shutters over the door to the balcony but the latches for them were broken so the just banged open and closed all night. The mosquito net around the bed had lots of holes in it. The power in one of the rooms wasn't working so they had to have an electrician come try to fix it. There were no curtains over one of the windows. Most of the things we tried to order from room service they did not have. On the last night we were there we had someone come to do some art for us and we're surprised by the fact that if someone else wants to step foot on the property it will cost and additional 7500ksh. The staff was very rude and not helpful about any of the issues. There are many properties along this beach that are much better for the price.

Pros:

This hotel has the best hospitality.I have not seen a hotel staff so welcoming,so smiley so professional and so helpful.I interracted with a few and I have to mention Hope 😀 made sure that I got everything I needed.Then I met Kamau who was in charge of the security he also did a wonderful job,Jared,Claus and Mercy I appreciated their services.All the staff rooms,food,pool,beach was just exceptional.I will definitely be back and highly recommend!

Beautiful, serene, clean, comfy and overall the views were great. Breakfast was great and something I looked forward to. The pastries were 10/10 minus nothing, especially the Berliners!

Cons:

Hot water wasn’t hot and the water from the bidet has a strong stench. We pointed it out. Also, we couldn’t redeem our coupon for the first few days we stayed at their property - Sunday May 24th to Sunday May 31st - they said there wasn’t anything they could do. We were two couples and the other couple had their anniversary. We had spent over 70,000KSH (I have most of my receipts) and they refused to give us the discount. They said we could claim what we didn’t spend which didn’t make sense. We had receipts. When we eventually reached common ground, they said we should charge any other expenses going forward to the room and we had lost interest in dining on the property after that. Upon checking out, we cleared the bills, coupon redeemed for the days after and it became a thing again. I was called halfway out of the city, into Nairobi, to be informed I’m owing money I didn’t owe. We had to explain again that it was a 10% discount which was barely over 1900ksh. I shared the details and printouts. They apologized but it was just distasteful. I had a good time overall but the water and how they handled the discount issue just ruined it for me. If you don’t want to give a discount, don’t offer it in my booking and treat me like I’m begging when providing evidence of what I paid for. It’s that simple.
