Beautiful, serene, clean, comfy and overall the views were great. Breakfast was great and something I looked forward to. The pastries were 10/10 minus nothing, especially the Berliners!
Hot water wasn’t hot and the water from the bidet has a strong stench. We pointed it out. Also, we couldn’t redeem our coupon for the first few days we stayed at their property - Sunday May 24th to Sunday May 31st - they said there wasn’t anything they could do. We were two couples and the other couple had their anniversary. We had spent over 70,000KSH (I have most of my receipts) and they refused to give us the discount. They said we could claim what we didn’t spend which didn’t make sense. We had receipts. When we eventually reached common ground, they said we should charge any other expenses going forward to the room and we had lost interest in dining on the property after that. Upon checking out, we cleared the bills, coupon redeemed for the days after and it became a thing again. I was called halfway out of the city, into Nairobi, to be informed I’m owing money I didn’t owe. We had to explain again that it was a 10% discount which was barely over 1900ksh. I shared the details and printouts. They apologized but it was just distasteful. I had a good time overall but the water and how they handled the discount issue just ruined it for me. If you don’t want to give a discount, don’t offer it in my booking and treat me like I’m begging when providing evidence of what I paid for. It’s that simple.
The food was really nice. but the room service was a bit slow. this place is wonderful.

The staff were exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help. The food was consistently delicious throughout our stay, and I would also like to mention that during our five days at the hotel, we did not experience any stomach-related issues whatsoever, which speaks positively about the food quality and hygiene standards.
The cocktails were excellent and well-prepared. Throughout our holiday, we always felt safe, comfortable, and well looked after. One of the highlights was the themed dinner evenings, where a different concept was introduced each night. This added a charming and enjoyable touch to the overall experience.
The spa is definitely worth trying at least once. As a couple, we thoroughly enjoyed our treatment and were very satisfied with the service provided.
The entertainment team also deserves special recognition for their enthusiasm, energy, and ability to create a fun atmosphere throughout our stay.
Overall, this hotel offers excellent value for money, and we would gladly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable holiday experience.
Being located in a natural environment, there were occasionally some insects around, which is something that can happen in many parts of Kenya. The hotel does carry out room fumigation to address this issue, which we appreciated. However, we believe that giving a bit more attention to this matter and further improving their pest control measures would help raise their standards and enhance the overall guest experience. Aside from this, our stay was very enjoyable, and we appreciated the hospitality and service provided by the team.
