I had work in Sha tin, so it was the best place to stay. If I was just visiting HK I would stay in another part of town.
Pros:

The staff were excellent. The breakfast / food options incredible. The room was clean and the facilities great.

Cons:

The location wasn’t great - on top of a McDonald’s - unless of course you love fast food.

We had a wonderful stay at Courtyard Hong Kong Sha Tin. The hotel is modern, comfortable, and very well located. We truly appreciated the sustainable initiative of having a water refill station on our floor — a thoughtful way to reduce plastic use.A special thank-you to Mr. Jacky Yip Chun Ki, whose kindness and professionalism made our visit unforgettable. From the moment we checked in, he assisted us with luggage, clearly explained hotel details, and even left a kind note about the free shuttle service. On the day we traveled to Macau, Jacky personally accompanied us to the bus stop leading to the ticket center — such a considerate gesture that made us feel truly cared for.Throughout our stay, every staff member was polite and helpful. We felt completely at home and will definitely choose Courtyard Hong Kong Sha Tin again on our next visit. Highly recommended!
