Cons:

The cleaning team is a kind of too eager to check when the room will be available for cleaning every morning. Some facilities such as the window curtain is quite shabby.

Reasonable stay at Shatin Hong Kong.
Pros:

1) Good location of the hotel - 10 mins walk to MTR and surrounded by restaurants.
2) Good view of the river and the mountain from the room.

Cons:

1) Very expensive breakfast.
2) The hotel charged a deposit of HKD 500, on top of the room charge, to the credit card per night of stay. For example, if I stay for a week, the deposit would be HKD 3500. Most hotels would seek a card authorisation of the estimated room charges plus an additional 10 to 20% to cover expenses. Nobody would charge such a big amount of deposit to the card.
