Pros:

Die Lage des Hotels ist super Zentral auf der Piazza. Von außen macht es auch was her. Das Personal besonders Franco ist sehr zuvorkommend. Das Frühstück im Restaurant gegenüber war gut.

Cons:

Enstpricht nicht 4 Sternen. Hat zwar alles was die Sterne begründet (Safe, Klima, Carepaket, Minibar) Dafür ist das Zimmer sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Die Tür hat oben und unten einen großen Spalt, das Licht aus dem Flur leuchtet rein. Ein Minifenster dass auf 160cm angebracht ist. Eine Klimaanlage die ein Rauschen von sich gibt dass man nicht schlafen kann. Besonders das Bad sollte renoviert werden. Außerdem liegt Zimmer 102 am Ende eines Ganges duch einen Wintergarten durch, über der Küche. Nicht nur dass alle Gerüche sich dort einfinden, man hört den Koch oder Keller schreien, es wird mit dem Geschirr und dem Besteck geklimpert. Musik von draußen ist auch zu hören. Die Türen vom Nachbarzimmer werden geknallt. Nicht erholsam. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältniss und die Sterne passen hier nicht.

Not what expected

The property was located in a great location, heart of Monopoli

Cons:

The room was not what I was expecting, I rented a quadruple room which from reviewing the pictures I thought was all one room. I was advised review the fine print as not all of those type of rooms are on one floor. Instead it was a tiny double room with a stairs up to a smaller room with single beds. It was completely unsafe for my 19 month year old. I advised the team they said it was height of season and no other rooms were available. I requested a partial refund, advising we would find another location and they said it’s impossible as we paid upfront.we stayed two nights whilst we found another location and walked away from. Two nights costing us ~€900, . I would never pay for a property upfront again and will not use booking g.con again because of the lack of recourse/customer service.

Loved this boutique hotel in fantastic location
Pros:

Fresh and clean hotel in great location. Taxis can drop you just outside the arch to enter the piazza and it’s a 20m easy walk (a lot of other accom in the beautiful town of Monopoli requires wheeling bags on limestone cobbled streets. Hotel has lift for very easy access to rooms. Easy 3 min walk to port for boat trips, many restaurants and cafes from 1 min away. Staff very welcoming and friendly so great safe stay for solo traveller.

No views and rooms lack a little character (although very clean, fresh and safe)
