My Place @ Surat Hotel

Its was a good room for the price, bsthroom was a new experience but i didnt mind.

Was a lovely short stay, with everything I could have asked for.

Lovely stay in a standard hotel in the heart of the city. We were gifted a lovely souvenir upon checkout. Bed was comfy and A/C worked well. Nice bathroom.

Staff was great! Chill spot!

I spent only a night here, but wish I had stayed another night. It had one of the sweetest staff I have ever met. Very welcoming. Room was large and comfortable and was close to a large amount of cafes and restaurants. Staff wrote me a goodbye postcard, which was very kind and memorable after many months of travel.

I enjoyed my stay here. Location was good and amenities were very reasonable for the price. Hotel staff make you feel right at home and are happy to help you!

It was a nice sized room. It was quiet and very comfortable.

The review i read before i booked, said a coffee shop/ restaurant, however on arriving and wanting to eat someting at 3 pm, the little coffee dhop/ restaurant was closeto close.
Also pn walking for many hours there are no proper restaurants, unless you to the central CENTRAL PLAZA

I only stayed there one night but the staff were so friendly and room was clean and well prepared. Would certainly stay there again if in Surat. The night market is great for food.

The staff were very helpful. The room was well worth the cost we payed for it. Many eating options in the area. It’s also very close to the night market.

Dirty, uncomfortable, washroom facilities awful

I always stay here when visiting Surat Thani. Easy walk to both the night market and the river front. Also, the bus station is 5 min walk (Phantip Travel). I like this option for travel to Krabi because no need to go to train station, which is 25 min ride away and 150 baht or so. Be sure to do Phantip Travel booking online, as they dont sell tickets at the office location. Bottom line, this hotel is a great choice when bouncing through town for either Krabi/Phuket etc, or Samui. Wifi works fine. Restaurant options within a minute walk.

A simple old style Thai hotel in the centre of town. Very friendly helpful reception staff who speak English. I just stayed one night in a single room with fan on 4th floor with shared cold water shower. Paid 210 thb. But would probably get a better more expensive room if staying longer.
Walking distance from the downtown bus terminal and Phantip office for island transfers. Nearby excellent night market for delicious food.
I would recommend this simple hotel.

It was really pleasant staying there. I would definitely stay there again if I am in the area.

A lovely old, quiet Thai place for those of us who love old Thailand.
A really pleasant refuge from the obnoxious, loud party Russians who have destroyed Thailand.
If you are a rich Russian here for the fancy room, drugs and prostitutes, you won’t appreciate this place.
This is definitely the most pleasant stay we have had in Surat Thani.

A nice place to stay for one night. The room is old and hot but there is a van. Bathrooms are also fine. Staff is really nice, they help you at any time you want and the thankyou card definetly makes the visit. The hotel is next to a cinema en in the middle of the centre
