Prom Ratchada Hotel

The hotel is ideal except that the windows are locked and DON'T OPEN! Neither in the room nor in the bathroom. There is no ventilation, only the air conditioner. The receptionist told me that it's the hotel policy! They also couldn't send anyone to open the windows in my room because of... the hotel policy. The staff and the room were nice otherwise.

So, if you need fresh air, I dont recommend this hotel. People can't breathe without oxygen, and the AC doesn't produce any oxygen.

I had to check out a few hours after checking in because I realized I'll suffocate there if I stay all night. I asked for a refund (50% or at least 30%) but they refused.

Prom Hotel is excellent value for money. It's very clean with very helpful staff from front desk to cleaning and parking! Great location for shopping outlets, and dining options. Nearby shopping complexes.

Next to the Prom Hotel is a Big C Supermarket and Shopping Complex open until 10pm and also The Street Complex.

So many places to go, from the Jodd Fair Night Market, walk a bit further to The Esplanade, Thailand Cultural Centre - MRT station is only a 4-minute walk. Then you reach Fortune Town IT Complex and across the road is Central Rama 9. Ratchadapisek Road entrance.
From the hotel you can get a taxi to anywhere you want to go.

This is a wonderful hotel base to stay for a trip, definitely recommend it.

Good points were cleanliness, the comfortable bed, efficient AC, and the nearness to the MRT and a Big C supermarket and mall. Not so good were the difficulty in finding the hotel first time round, the monotonous breakfast, the lack of any English language or news channels on TV, and, for us, being given the smallest room on the floor (7303) despite booking in for 11 nights and booking months in advance. The hotel was clearly used by many large Chinese tour groups, and I suspect that all the best rooms were reserved for them.

We have stayed here for 3 years now, wouldn't change as it ticks all the boxes. Shame they have altered the breakfast arrangements, no ham on the menu meant I had to buy my own to eat with my eggs.

I enjoyed the stay but if you are the first visitor to BKK, I don’t think it’s the ideal place to stay as most of the places and activities which tourists want are quite far away, 40 mins . However, there are plenty of transports nearby to go around and decent shopping centres and food.

I booked the triple room. The double bed was huge (king size) and the room was clean. However, the walls are very thin (can hear other guests talking). No slippers and no tissue paper in the room. The breakfast is ok and the staff replenishes the food. TV channels are Thai except for 2 - 3 channels in English, and difficulty adjusting volume. A short stay is ok; not suitable for long stay.

The hotel is very suitable for a 2 week stay. The hotel is located in the cozy Ratchada area near the metro station. The hotel has 2 towers - the Old building and the new building. If you need a Luxury room, I advise you to take it at a good discount for 7 nights in Tower A. There is a good breakfast! The pool is present and constantly maintained in a clean condition! Nearby is a large Big C store!

Located right behi d the big C, its in a convenient location. The hotel is what you'd expect for the price. Nothing fancy but a clean room and bed. The breakfast offers 6 set options amd is sufficient for a low maintenance traveler. If you want luxury, this isnt your place, but if you want convenient and affordable, this hotel will satisfy.

Very clean and in great location

Clean hotel with spacious rooms. Located just behind Big C Super Market. We walked about 25 min to Central Rama 9. MRT Thailand Cultural Center is the closest subway station from hotel. Breakfast was ok, we had to order Mains out of Fried Rice/Noodle or Hamburger. They also lay out mini buffet for guests which includes Tea/Coffee/Juice, Yogurt, Fruits, Sausages, Eggs and Toasts. We stayed there one night.

I gave 4* for the property and facilities because, [i] bathroom’s door sagged (difficult to close/lock the toilet’s door) [ii] no power point at pantry (had to place it elsewhere to boil water) [iii] traditional lockset (requires physical key lock whenever you leave the room, not keycard access), but these are minor issues considering price I paid for.
Overall I gave 5* for the convenience, the hotel location I can walk to Big C, food court, restaurants, mall. Provision of pantry with sink makes it easy for making beverages even when bathroom is occupied. Spacious room, clean linens, in event you forgot to bring power adapter, note they did provide an international socket outlet (only 1 located next to bed), the rest are thai socket outlets. will come back to stay again.

Great value for money. Helpful friendly staff, good breakfast, clean comfortable room. It may be my problem but the shower water wasn't hot enough - not cold either, though.
I walked to the hotel from the MRT Thailand Cultural Centre station. Not far but I had only an overnight bag. I had difficulty finding the road through to the hotel (It's the roadway to Big C parking space, between Big C and Street shopping centre). I have already planned two more visits to Prom Ratchada.

I stay from 15-17 Sept 2023. counter staffs very helpful.room housekeeping excellent. breakfast was simple but good enough.walking distance to Thailand Cultural Centre Train blue line station, Exit 4. will stay back there again.value for money. Thanks!

First day woke up, air conditioning was warm. Told the staffs to come and check, quick enough they arrived to check and said was cold. Shortly after they left, anout 5min the air con had cracking sound ( its like inside frozen), then started to shoot ice out.

Called them again, finally, they agreed to change our room (only when this happened then change, at first they reluctant to change)

So…. Bla bla called to lobby to collect keys as usual, moved up to new room. BUT at counter they WASNT ANY service recovery or like any sincerity to apologise. It is like 830AM IN THE MORNING. What an unpleasant short trip vacation.

The Manager was horrible, terrible. Not fit to be.

I am expecting a half day refund from this hotel. For wasting my morning sleep to pack everything and change room with NO service recovery on the spot.

Argued with them but i was gonna have a long day later on so i took it and go back rest.

Staff were great. A walkable distance for dinning, essential needs and also night markets.
