good
I spent 1 night with a room rate of 4,400 THB per night and got a discount is 1,840 THB total paid 2,760 THB per night (Thai Teaw Thai promotion) but the room had bad-smelling when entered the room and no view/ Breakfast - not a good quility / Internet - Poor signal / Reception staff - Poor communication / Air condition - not cold / the room have a few plugs for charging mobile but not enough for other devices. However, bell man was nice.
Really lovely staff, very friendly and helpful.
Room is clean enough. Toilet and shower room are still new and well function. Service are good, many staffs have good service mind even just end of peak period during new year.
Wifi is really bad, connect and disconnect all the time
Breakfast are variety enough, breads are a bit hard but ok
団体旅行を受け入れているので、同じフロアになってかなり辛かった。
I spent the most amazing new year vacation in Chiang Rai. I stayed at Phufa Waree for 5 nights and got a well-deserved rest. The location of Phufa Waree is around 18 km. from Chiang Rai town. I know it's quite far but once you learn how to commute, it's really not a deal-breaker. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The room is big (I got a one-bedroom suite), the bathroom is also huge. The only thing that I would complain about is the sofa in the living room. It's built-in and it's not really that comfortable. The accommodation comes with a buffet breakfast, serve from 6:30 to 10 am. They have a Thai-style buffet spread and they serve different dishes every day.
Outside the hotel, there's a nice restaurant called Tid Dao Tid Din. The food is also good and inexpensive.
Getting to town is a bit tricky, taxis and even Grab car is very expensive so try to hail a small green bus, which comes every 15 or 20 minutes. The fare is around 18 Baht and it will take you straight to Chiang Rai town (the bus station is near the Night Bazaar).
All in all, I would say I had a great stay at Phufa Waree.
I stayed in Room 234. The room is fine. No in room safe . They need to give the shower room bit of thought. No space to keep toiletries.
The breakfast is good. Being quite a distance from the main city you may need to hire a taxi. 200 B each way. Noi is a good driver you can call him at 0822456469
The resort had many room types. I stayed in room 317. The room was clean, large with sitting area. There was a large king comfortable bed. The bathroom was large with many amenities. The breakfast was great with many selections. The hotel provided transportation to-from the airport and MFU. Will come back.
There for a night on a business trip.
Like:
- very polite staff
- good collection of breakfast
- has 7-11 nearby
Don’t like:
- Took time for warm water in shower room.
- No TV in bed room, only one outside bedroom.
Will I come back?
- Yes
Location: very close to Mae-Fa-Luang university
Room: There are one bedroom and one living room. Private bathroom. Hot water has low pressure.
Breakfast: Nice breakfast. Moderate varieties.
Service: very nice service. Super fast check in and check out. The best part of this hotel is their staffs.
Wifi: good and fast wifi signal.
Parking: Lots of parking space.
We booked a standard room which is not in the main building but still good. The room was great, clean and functional. The staff are very good. All in a lovely relaxing Xmas, well done to all the hard working staff,We would return. <3
Stay for a night during trip to Chiang Rai. Location is convenient if you have a schedule at Mah Fah Luang University. Else, the place is in the middle of sevaral tourist spots in Chaing Rai but none of them are near.
Breakfast is good with several options.
Room is big and clean.
Tip: there is local market near by. You can experience Thai street food only hundreds steps aways.
Not too far from the airport...just only 20 minutes by car. Near the market and close to MFL University. The staff are very nice with helpful. The hotel is always cleanliness. One thing that should be improved is the water temperature from the shower, it is not stable...could not control.
น้ำในสระว่ายน้ำส่วนตัว น้ำสกปรกนิดนึงคะ
Had a great time as always. Food was excellent from the Thai menu and not over-expensive. The views, the pools, the service...everything was outstanding and we were made to feel so welcome. Thank you to the whole team for such a memorable stay.
The hotel was very great, peaceful, quit new. Even my son he said "I would like to rate full score!! and would like to come back again." However, Wifi was not good and breakfast was not many options.
We stayed here for 3 nights, there isn't all that much to do as its quite far out of Chiang Rai. The pool was amazing, all to ourselves and the weather was lush.
The staff were friendly enough, organized a taxi back into Chiang rai center for our bus.
There's an affiliated cafe/restaurant that gives you 10% off when presenting your room key. The food and drink is great and it's well priced.
If you're looking for somewhere to chill and enjoy the weather by the pool this place is great.
Only con- the beds are so hard! It's comparable to lying on a yoga mat or park bench!
our team working to help the people for Chiang Rai stayed at the Phufa Waree residence in Chiangrai. The hotel is well located close to the Mae Fah Luang university with a very nice café right outside and a street of restaurants and convenience stores. Its easy to call a cab if one needs to visit a place further downtown. The rooms are nice and spacious with all the basic amenities.
The staff - (especially Jimmy :) ) worked with us to provide the team with a nice experience with a variety of local foods for our daily team dinners and also offered different locations to make our experience special. They were able to cater to our different needs at the hotel.
My girlfriend and I stayed here for about 5 days last month and this hotel/residence was everything we had hoped it would be! Staff was pleasant and attentive. Room service did a great job keeping the room cleaned and smelling great every day. The breakfast (free) was buffet style - serving Western and Thai foods. The restaurant in front of the hotel near the main road was excellent as well - we ate there at least once a day, every day and did not have a bad meal ever. There is a day market across the main road and a little to the right which has a wide assortment of fruits and meats (right next to the 7-11). There is a night market located near the entrance to the University a little further down the same road. Also a great indoor/outdoor nightclub with live music located there. Really enjoyed this place!
