The location was wonderful

Cons:

The beds were very uncomfortable, the water wasn’t hot enough for the 2 person bathtub. The LED blue lights all over the bedroom shined in one’s eyes while trying to sleep. The dinner that both of us had at the restaurant was literally awful and very expensive. The $500 room did not have a picture on the wall or an area rug making it feel very stark and cold.

The hotel setting is beautiful.

Cons:

Service was not great. We never received any instruction on how to avoid the ZTL until we called as we were entering the town. When we arrived at the front of the hotel, there was no where to park and no one to direct where to go so the car in front of us just stopped in the middle of the drive, got out and went up to the front desk, leaving us unable to move until someone finally came down several minutes later and instructed the one in front of us, and us, to follow them to the parking garage. Upon arrival to the front desk after dragging our luggage from Parking Garage B to the front desk, the scene was chaotic. 3 people working behind the desk. They seemed more worried about stapling receipts to receipts and something on the computer than checking guests in.
Once checked in, we headed to our room. Room was small, which isnt a problem, but it was also dark. Walls needed paint. Shower was smaller than a phone booth. Door opens directly into the toilet.
Breakfast was mainly continental style. Cold items like bread, fruit, cold cuts, etc. You could order from a menu but that was an extra cost. There was no self serve coffee station. No server ever formally greeted us so there was never an opportunity to actually order coffee. Instead, we had to flag a server down and ask for it.
Our visit was not a 4 star visit.

Hotellets läge är fantastiskt vid vackra Lago d'Orta. Men mht kostnad var förväntningarna högre.
Pros:

läget var fantastiskt - hade vädret varit bättre hade det säkert påverkat vårt intryck mer positivt. Personalen var tillmötesgående och serviceminded - men med olika kapabilitet för sina jobb.

Cons:

restaurangen levde inte upp till förväntningarna. maten var inte bra - tillkonstrad. vi har ätit mycket bättre på vår Itlaienresa för väsentligt lägre kostnad. priset på hotellrummet var inte heller i proportion till upplevelsen.

Gute Lage, tolle Aussicht, Sauberkeit

Cons:

Ausstattung zum Teil in die Jahre gekommen, vor allem Bad dunkel, klein und unpraktisch, in Bar ewig gewartet auf Service sowohl zum bestellen als auch bis Getränke kamen, obwohl kaum Tische besetzt waren, eher Gefühl von Masse statt Klasse, Dienst wurde vor allem nach Vorschrift erledigt, zum Restaurant selbst können wir aber nichts sagen

Les personnes à la réception ne m’ont jamais envoyé la facture et m’ont envoyé un mail pour me demander de régler des consommations que j’avais déjà réglées ! Pas cool
Obliger de justifier pour à la fin qu’ils se rendent compte que c’était le client après nous 😠

Rien pour l’accueil et la vue !
Pros:

Emplacement idéal pour visiter les îles et le centre de Stresa. Une vue sur extraordinaire sur le lac, à privilégier. Belle salle pour les repas. Personnel très agréable et attentif.

Cons:

Les chambres en annexes ne sont pas à la hauteur de cet établissement (même les serviettes sont déclassées). Aussi avons nous changé de chambre car le bruit du chien qui aboie et de la tuyauterie des étages supérieurs ne permettaient pas d’être au calme.

Lovely hotel, awful room
Pros:

The room we were given was small. The bed took most of the space. No space to move around. No hooks for the coats, no place to store the suitcase, the hangers in the small wardrobe were so high, you had ro use a metal rod with a hook at the end to reach them. The shower cubicle was also small. Price for this room 218 euro per night! A trolley with used towels was left in the corridor for a few days. And this is a 4* hotel!. I complained and they offered an upgrade, the night before we left! We were there for 3 nights. On the positive, the staff was very friendly, the bistro by the lake very pleasant offering good stuff for lunch and the position of the hotel excellent. The balcony and the view from the room very pleasant. We would nt go back though

Beautiful lake views, friendly staff, and a very relaxing atmosphere. The room was clean and comfortable, and breakfast was great. I would definitely come back.

Prachtig gelegen maar wel verouderd.
Pros:

De locatie. Hotel is prachtig gelegen direct aan het meer. Het gebouw is een oud klooster geweest dus vol historie. Hotel beschikt over eigen parkeergarage.

Cons:

Ontbijt. Weinig gasten in hotel en nog was alles te weinig. Werd ook niets bijgevuld.

Lage des Hotels und Parkmöglichkeit.

Cons:

Zimmer renovationsbedürftig und eher klein und hellhörig. Parking sollte bei diesen Preisen inklusive sein. Personal beim Frühstück äusserst unfreundlich, überfordert und unqualifiziert.
