Nice and cozy
Pros:

very clean and quiet hotel with friendly staff. We really enjoyed our stay and loved how comfortable the rooms were. Great place for a short getaway.

Un endroit magique
Pros:

L’hôtel est situé au cœur de Orta San Giulia. L’accueil est chaleureux. La chambre, vue sur lac, est de belle dimension et bien équipée même si l’ensemble est vieillot. D’ailleurs il n’y a pas de flexible pour la douche et la Clim n’est pas réglable (glagla).
Le personnel est vraiment très attentionné.
L’espace petit déjeuner est assez glauque. Je ne comprends pas pourquoi ils nous enferment dans cette pièce alors qu’ils ont une belle terrasse vue lac !!!
Globalement un bon séjour malgré ces anachronismes.

La Clim, non réglable et vraiment très fraîche

Fantastic location, pool and bar facilities are great and the main hotel areas are lovely.

Cons:

Some of the rooms are getting run down and there is damage and broken items which give the impression of lack of maintenance. Breakfast is average.

Memorable Stay by the Water
Pros:

From the moment we arrived, everything was excellent. The hotel was clean, quiet, and beautifully maintained. We especially enjoyed relaxing on the terrace while taking in the spectacular lake views.

Best location - a little dated
Pros:

the location can not be bettered. The pool overlooks the lake and the bar is on a pontoon on the lake. It is a short and beautiful walk into town but far enough that the coach tours dont make it.
The hotel is kept very clean and tidy and has really helpful staff.
Great breakfast.

Cons:

Our room was tiny... so small that we had to walk around the bed sideways
The bathrooms are dated (albeit functional and very clean) as is the restaurant and bar area. I had hoped that we would be able to have had breakfast outside on the beautiful terrace but unfortunately it was upstairs in quite a small room.
The cost of the room felt out of proportion to the room given.

Beautiful property in a perfect location on gorgeous Orta lake, our favorite. The room itself was basic and dark, maybe the more expensive rooms are better

Fine for a short stay
Pros:

Great location. Breakfast was good. Nice bar service, staff were always very attentive.

Cons:

The room was too small for a week long stay. Nothing in the mini bar, no tea or coffee facilities. Dead flowers in reception.
A man appeared each day on an electric scooter and used the pool, smoked, played loud music and then left. He was not a resident.
