Super séjour et équipes d'accueil très conviviales. Contrairement à ce que laisse suggérer la fiche de réservation sur hotels.com, le petit déjeuner n'est jamais compris quel que soit la formule choisie

Beau week-end reposant, culturel et le massage duo top

Tout était OK. Sauf pomme de la douche pas pratique et style bon marché.
Agencement de la chambre dans les combles fautive. Impossible de s'assoir sur le lit à cause de la pente du toit. Pourtant le lit aurait pu être mis contre le mur, ce qui le rendrait plus confortable.

Belle demeure ancienne, bon accueil, equipement viellissant ( douche) , au calme aucun bruit , petit dejeuner correct

Kamer was mooi en rustig. Alleen douchekop viel steeds naar beneden en wc-bril zat los.

Zwembad is prima verzorgd.

Ontbijt viel zwaar tegen. Drie dagen ontbijt voor 2 personen heeft ons 90 euro gekost.

Brood van de dag ervoor werd de volgende dag weer geserveerd (half brood ging weer de oven in) en aantal dingen waren niet bijgevuld. Een taartje dat bij de ontbijttafel stond werd de dag erna weer geserveerd, maar nu waren de stukjes nog een keer door midden gesneden. Brood was ontzettend hard en haast niet te eten doordat het nog eens was gebakken.

We hebben uiteindelijk voor 7 croissants, 3 Danoontje yoghurts, een appel en 2 bananen en wat brood met Nutella 90 euro betaald.

Er zit een supermarkt op 10 minuten afstand, dus dat was wellicht een betere optie geweest als we tijd hadden gehad (werkreis). Dan had bovenstaande ons max. 10 euro gekost.

In de avond geen mogelijkheid om ergens koffie te drinken.

Nous avions déjà constaté un accueil un peu froid compensé par une jolie chambre.
Pas de chance cette fois, l'accueil était toujours aussi froid mais la chambre petite, une salle de bain minuscule et 2 lits simples simplement rapprochés.
Nous retournons régulièrement dans ce secteur, nous choisirons un autre hôtel.

The château itself is a beautiful building. The room we were in, a comfort room, was perfectly fine. Bed was comfy and wide. Breakfast was OK, lovely fresh croissants, but expensive for what it was.

Superbe environnement.
Piscine avec jacuzzi : on entend le chant des oiseaux aux alentours : le bonheur.

Seul inconvenient : pas de restaurant.

This might be a great place for a wedding. But if you're an individual traveler or couple looking for a few nights' lodging in this area, it's got some problems.

The website gives the impression of great facilities. And for big parties, that may be true. For us, it wasn't. There was no place within the main house that appeared available to us as any kind of lounge area. The website gives the impression of an on-site restaurant (does not explicitly state that) but there is none, although the included breakfast (mostly cold) was quite nice. As the place is fairly isolated, you had to drive to find a meal. The room was clean, but the overwhelmingly brown decor made it very dark. On the positive side, the folks who manage (own?) the place were very nice and accommodating.

In short, I might get married here, but I would not recommend it for the casual tourist.

Très bel hôtel, personnel souriant. Seul bémol, on ne nous emmène pas à la chambre mais on nous indique qu'elle se situe dans tel bâtiment. Ayant travaillé dans le secteur hôtelier je trouve cela anti-commerçant

Chambre non conforme à la photo affichée et très décevante! Petit-déjeuner très sommaire.... propreté douteuse, confort de base. Bref, déception

Un arrêt non prévu dans la région et qu'elle belle découverte, un site hors du temps mais avec toute la modernité des services spa, mini golf,piscine , Accueil très chaleureux lors de l'arrivée, conseils sur les restaurants de la région , lieux pour courrir etc..
Lieux assez rare et précieux à refaire en couplé ou en famille.

We arrived and found the manager. He was very friendly, spoke fair English, and showed us around the chateau and grounds. All the rooms are beautiful and well kept. Very enjoyable stay.

A lovely place for a break. Large room and terrific shower. As international travelers we were disappointed that we couldn't pick up the wifi and so had to drive into Chateaudun to McDonalds to get wifi.

environnement très calme . idéal pour se reposer . cadre beau . très joli château . petit déjeuner copieux. nous étions logés dans les dépendances très bien aménagées idéales.

We stayed here a few years ago and were impressed with the work done to bring this magnificent building into a hotel state.
Sadly a second and slightly longer stay revealed that little has progressed and the gardens in particular have an un-cared for appearance.
The Hotel staff were friendly and welcoming and the room was comfortable enough and clean.
Lack of local restaurants and no in hotel dining are limitations.

Fine for an over-night stay to break your journey but not so great for a few days.
