The location was very good and there was ample parking. Dinner was good and nice and hot. Tea/coffee making facilities good with enough milk. Instructions and wi fi password stated.
The shower was a dribble despite the water pressure in the taps good.
I’ve stayed here before in different room and this time unfortunately the room was a little disappointing
The room had a faulty shower, chipped mirror, was a little unloved generally.
Me and wife loved the everything the the room location and the river outside and tea room over the bridge it was brilliant
Great location for climbing Snowdon the next morning. The room was extremely good value and included a full cooked breakfast which was also excellent. The room was clean and had tea, coffee and kettle in the room, with plenty of teabags etc. The bed was comfortable and it wasn't noisy. We didn't eat an evening meal at the hotel but there was food available. We opted for fish and chips from the excellent local chippy just round the corner.
Nothing, all good. I can see why some reviewers commented on the stairs but it's an old building with character, only a problem if you are older with mobility issues, not a problem for us.
Location good. Easy to find. Very clean rooms. Pleasant staff. More variety at breakfast would have been good but a good basic cooked breakfast.
Didn't like the mushrooms at breakfast but good egg! The square was really noisy at night with young teenagers until at least 1am
The breakfast was very good, portion size just right. Location of the hotel is excellent, amenities all to hand plus a lovely position next to the river. We found it ideal with our dog and easy access to good walks.
I could not find a hairdryer, hankies would be useful in the bathroom. It would be useful to have in the room details of the breakfast hours and the time the main door is locked. It said 11.30 on the door in the bedroom but we were informed it was 9.30 on check in, this time was not a problem for us though.
Have stayed here before so knew what to expect. Good comfortable room and bed. Good cooked breakfast and tasty filling evening meal.

The bed was a bit hard.
Good food, breakfast and dinner. The room was ok for its price. good beer garden with great views
No hot water in shower or wash basin on the first night, it took ages to fix it. 2nd night it was just warm but couldn't be bother reporting it. Hotel needs refurb in places, but that was reflected in the price. I personally didn't like the American diner type seating in the bar.

Breakfast was good. Just the right portion size. Location of hotel is superb with beautiful views all round. Evening meal also good with efficient service.
Had difficulty regulating shower….too cold or too hot. Main door to hotel locked too early (10pm…11pm would be more reasonable

Beautiful hotel in a fantastic location,the room was a good size and the bed was very comfortable ,plenty of tea and coffee in the room ,the breakfasts were very good ,2 days of our stay it was a buffet style breakfast and on our last day we ordered off the very ample breakfast menu ,the staff were very friendly and made it feel like a home from home ,lastly we had a Sunday carvery which was excellent in both variety and value for money ,we will definitely be coming back sometime in the future ,Ken and Jenny

The Eagle is an impressive building and probably needs a lot of maintenance but unfortunately there are areas of the Hotel and the rooms that need that maintenance but have not got it, some TLC required.
Bar and food are reasonably priced and the staff are pleasant.
General decor and facilities need attention.
