Great location, comfy hotel
Pros:

Friendly staff, room had everything you need. Free parking and an excellent location to explore snowdonia. Solid breakfast!

Cons:

Hotel is a bit old and dated. Bed a bit small and cleaning could improve a bit. Still good value for money

Pros:

This was the 3rd time we have stayed at the Eagles and it always exceeds our expectations

The only thing I would change would be the Mattress was uncomfortable

Arrived, stayed 10 mins, no staff anywhere. So just went home instead

I would stay here again as it is a great location and good value
Pros:

Great position in the town
Lovely walks along the river
The staff were great
The beds were comfortable and I slept very well

Cons:

It was a little tired and I didn’t enjoy my dinner
There were no healthy options
I had fish and chips and was disappointed as the fish obviously came out of the freezer
I couldn’t find anywhere else in the town to eat in the evening

Perfect for my needs.
Pros:

I was upgraded to a double room when I checked in it was lovely. Breakfast was just what was needed.Didnt have chance for evening meal.good selection of drinks.Great location to explore snowdonia.

Cons:

Few issues with hot water but nothing to spoil my stay.

Our stay at the Eagles Hotel was great the room food and location were brilliant
Pros:

The room was very large and comfortable. The staff were very accommodating and pleasant. The food was very good.

Shower was difficult to adjust. Shower cubicle needed a deep clean (mould).
Generally looked tired.

Pros:

The location is excellent, in the middle of the town, just 4 miles north of Betws-Y-Coed.

Cons:

The hotel was shabby and had a musty smell to it. The young gentleman on reception made no effort to interact with me, just handed me the key to my room and announced loudly in a reception area with people in it that I would be in room 14. The door to the room looked as though someone had tried to break into it at some point, the room was dated, musty, with a side table covered in stains, fingerprints on the back of a chair, and the shower room had mould in the shower basin and on the grouting. Added to this, there was a note on the dressing table saying there would be no housekeeping for the duration of my stay (3 nights) and that if I wanted extra towels I should ask at reception. No other single rooms were available apparently. I chose not to stay and went home instead. I cannot understand how this hotel has such good reviews and ratings both on Booking.com and TripAdvisor.

Goed ontbijt in leuk hotel met bar en restaurant, maar opgelet om niet te verbranden in de badkamer.

De locatie was erg goed en de kamer was ruim en mooi. Er was een bar en het ontbijt was erg goed.

Cons:

De muziek in de bar en de ontbijtruimte was redelijk luid en niet stijlvol.. Het was de hele tijd puberale muziek van 10 jaar geleden. Rustige, neutrale muziek, klassiek zou veel beter geweest zijn. Onze douche was een mooie inloop douche, maar jammer genoeg ook een sauna. De radiator stond gloeiend heet en we konden die niet regelen. Er was ook geen verluchting of luchtafzuiging in de badkamer. De thermostaat van de douchekraan was stuk, want we kregen enkel kokend heet water uit de douche, terwijl er voldoende koud water uit de wastafel kon komen. We deden een melding in de ochtend, maar het probleem was niet opgelost in de avond. We kregen ook geen feedback over het douche probleem. De kamer was ook erg warm en er was geen airconditioning. Een luidruchtige ventilator kon de warmte niet oplossen.
