Enjoyed a bit of history
Pros:

Friendly staff, clean room, comfortable beds. Very beautiful historical building.

Cons:

Could easily hear through the doors and rooms, so we didn't feel like we had privacy. It was hard to move around the beds due to the tight space, but recognize it was part of the experience.

library Lounge amazing food and service
Pros:

my friend took me for a amazing birthday lunch in Library lounge today, ang was our server always a smile excellent service, We had fish n chips delicious large portion, so much so we could not eat it all. Then the most delicious chocolate cake for dessert moist and scrumptious!!

Great location!
Pros:

The staff are great and we love the location! I had a lovely massage at Aura.

Cons:

The hotel itself is showing a lot of wear and tear. The furniture in our room was "distressed" and not what one would expect for the cost.
The main floor could use new flooring. The carpet is worn out and there is a strong odour at the back entrance (hard to name it... ).

Good Times at The Hume
Pros:

Spent the night here with 12 people traveling on motorcycles. Great location with good pubs and restaurants in the building and also right in the downtown core of Nelson. Very walkable to enjoy the area.

Cons:

Its a bit on the pricey side and a tad noisy if you're trying to get to bed early (but our group was part of the noise ;-)
