Das Zimmer und der Wellnessbereich waren sehr sauber. Das Zimmer war klein, aber gut ausgestattet. Die Lage ist unschlagbar.

Cons:

Das Frühstücksbuffet hatte die Standardangebote. Für 23,50 m.M.n. zu teuer. In den Cafés rund um das Hotel lässt sicj deutlich günstiger und teilweise besser frühstücken.

First impressions were made with your front desk team who were very welcoming and helpful in advising places to visit. The reception and bar areas were cosy.

Cons:

I found the room to be quite small (even for a city centre location) and was hoping for a good size double bed rather than 2 small single beds side by side. It would also have been nice to be able to make a coffee on the room and a small mini bar.

Πέραν του ότι είναι εξαιρετικά κεντρικά και σε απόσταση αναπνοής από πολλά μουσεία και αξιοθέατα, η εξυπηρέτηση ήταν άψογη. Υπάρχει πάντα κάποιος στη ρεσεψιόν, 24/7 και είναι πάρα πολύ ευγενικοί και πρόθυμοι να βοηθήσουν. Το δωμάτιο είναι ακριβώς ότι χρειάζεται κάποιος που ταξιδεύει μόνος - ζεστό, ανετότατο, καθαρό (έρχεται καθαρίστρια κάθε μέρα, η οποία αλλάζει και τις πετσέτες). Πιστεύω δεν του υπολείπεται τίποτα, τα έχει όλα και με το παραπάνω. Το προτείνω ανεπιφύλακτα!!

Το πρωινό θεωρώ λίγο ακριβό, αλλά δεν το θεωρώ μεγάλο πρόβλημα προσωπικά!

Disappointing experience with poor service, misleading promises, and no support despite paying extra

The only positive aspect of this hotel is its location, which is very convenient and central.

Unfortunately, my overall experience was extremely disappointing, both with Booking.com and Monbijou Hotel.

During the booking process, Booking.com clearly stated that for reservations over €698, the airport transportation would be covered free of charge, and that a booking link would be sent after confirmation. We contacted both Booking.com and the hotel multiple times regarding this service. Booking.com asked us several times for our confirmation number and PIN, which we provided, but we never received any response, link, or assistance. This service was advertised but never delivered.

Additionally, we paid extra money (30–45 € per night) to upgrade our room specifically to have a queen-size bed. However, when we arrived, the room did not have a queen bed — instead, they had simply pushed two single beds together, which was very uncomfortable and unacceptable considering the extra fee.

When I went to the reception to explain the situation, the staff responded in a cold and unhelpful manner, saying there was nothing they could do. No refund was offered and no alternative solution was provided.

On top of that, the room was extremely cold, and overall the service felt careless and unprofessional.

Despite paying more, we received no additional comfort, no proper service, and no support. Both the hotel and Booking.com handled this situation very poorly. I was deeply disappointed by Booking.com and shocked by the level of service at this hotel.

This experience was truly frustrating and ruined what should have been an enjoyable stay.

Werde das Hotel wieder buchen.
Pros:

Die Lage ist toll; die Aussicht vom Zimmer war mäßig, spielte aber keine Rolle. Personal sehr freundlich, Frühstück gut. Preis - Leistung top! Dachterrasse hatte dafür eine schöne Aussicht.
