it's a great value hotel if you are not used to the big hotel chains in asia

what I liked:
1. great location (just on the edge of chinatown)
2. price
3. room size (compare to other hotels, the rooms is reasonably larger)

Cons:

what I don't like:
1. the desk has no spare power outlet. all outlets were taken up by various electric items on the desk. I have to unplug the lamp in order to have an outlet for my laptop
2. very little counter space in the bathroom
3. not a single bottle of complimentary water

Favorite staycay spot in Singapore
Pros:

This was my 2nd time staying at Dorsett. I love the location, nearby cafes, the quiet and the comfortable room. Best of all, I slept great.

Cons:

Nothing I didn't like, though there are not that many eateries in the immediate vicinity.
