THE ISO HOTEL, Trademark Collection by Wyndham

I have traveled quite a bit and stayed at many hotels, and I can honestly say I have never felt so unwelcome from the moment I walked through the door.
We stayed here shortly after Hurricane Lowell. Our airline refused to refund our trip, but rather than canceling, we made the decision to come to Kauai anyway because we wanted to support the local economy and the community during a difficult time. We came with a positive attitude and fully understood that the island had just gone through a hurricane.
What we did not expect was to be treated like we were unwanted.
Our experience with the front desk staff, especially Mariah, was absolutely unacceptable. The very first thing she said to us was “Be respectful.” There was no “Aloha,” no “Good morning,” no welcome.
And it didn’t stop there. The staff made virtually no effort to make us feel welcome during our stay. Even basic courtesy seemed to be too much. We were met with cold, dismissive interactions that made us feel like we were inconveniencing them simply by being there.
At one point, the atmosphere was so uncomfortable that it honestly felt like we were being scared away from staying at the hotel and that they would have preferred we cancel our reservation and leave.
I understand that Hurricane Lowell had just affected Kauai. I understand that employees and locals were dealing with a difficult situation. But being stressed does not give hotel staff an excuse to treat guests with hostility and disrespect. We were not demanding anything special. We were simply expecting the most basic level of hospitality.
What makes this experience even more disappointing is that we chose to come to Kauai despite everything because we wanted to support the island and its local businesses. Instead of feeling appreciated for doing that, we felt like we were a burden.
A hotel is supposed to make guests feel welcome. This place did the complete opposite.

Le breakfast grab & go présente un choix assez limité (mais peut être parce que le restaurant était fermé suite à des travaux)

La camera era brutta, sapeva terribilmente di umido, assenza totale di cura dei dettagli, sembrava fatiscente e abbiamo trovato uno scarafaggio in camera la mattina.

Obiekt oceniony jako hotel 4* ale jakością ,standardem zbliżony jest do motelu. W „hotelu” panuje okropny smród stęchlizny w każdym pokoju , gdyż przechadzając się ten odór jest wyczuwalny w każdym z nich . W pokojach jest brudno a na suficie zabiłam karalucha. Nie polecam tego obiektu - lepiej dopłacić i wybrać coś innego ,bo gwiazdki są nadane tylko za basen i bliskość oceanu a sam obiekt to syf i smród.

L’air climatisé ne fonctionnait pas dans la chambre. La réception était fermée lorsqu’on l’a réalisé.

Avevo prenotato una camera fronte mare, ma mi è stata assegnata una camera laterale con vista mare solo parziale.

Le petit déjeuner pourrait être peut être meilleur, avec des produits frais et plus variés.

L'hotel non è un 4 stelle, ma a malapena un 3 stelle. La struttura è vecchia. Non c'è ascensore e i bagagli bisogna portarseli in camera su vecchie scale di legno esterne. Si dice che la colazione è inclusa, ma in realtà non si può definire colazione: non c'è caffè, né the, né alcuna bevanda calda. Solo prodotti confezionati. La pulizia della camera è su richiesta e la richiesta deve essere fatta 24 ore prima. Pur avendola richiesta, per due giorni di seguito non è stata fatta.

Non c’è il caffè a colazione ma te lo devi fare in camera

Al entrar a la habitación olía a humedad, falta armario para guardar ropa ( solo hay un pequeño espacio para dejar ropa) y tambien falta un lugar donde colgar / dejar ropa para secar
El desayuno bien pero es poco variado , el café lo tienes que traer de tu habitación

Sajnos nagyon rossz a hangszigetelés többször felébredtünk a szomszédra.
Egy kicsit kellemetlen dohos szag.
Padlószőnyeg igen csak megviselt.

Dirty room, black hairs in the bathroom, toiletries not refilled, balcony covered in bird droppings, and a damp, sweaty smell. On our last day, we found a huge cockroach in the middle of the room. Very basic grab-and-go breakfast. Definitely not a 4-star hotel — more like a motel

Nothing I can think of, we liked everything
