Pros:

The breakfast was very yummy. The pool was enjoyable and the staff was fairly nice.

Cons:

there were cockroaches all over the parking lot, there were barking dogs all night.

Cons:

I stay at this hotel regularly because of its convenient location but the service has repeatedly fallen below expectations.

During several stays, I experienced issues with housekeeping entering my room unexpectedly, including while I was sleeping. On my most recent stay, I specifically confirmed at check-in that I wanted my room cleaned, but after returning from a long day on campus close to midnight, the room had not been serviced. Then, on the morning of checkout, a housekeeping employee opened my door and busted into the room while I was still asleep.

Guests should be able to expect basic housekeeping service, privacy, and the ability to sleep without staff entering their room unexpectedly. Considering the price of the hotel, the overall experience was very disappointing.

Perfect hotel that needs to work on communication between front desk and housekeeping. We pay a lot of money to stay at

Loved location. Close to Staller Center. Fabulous restaurant. Comfortable stay. Clean facility overall.

Cons:

No matter how many times I spoke this one staff member at the front desk, it was like pulling teeth to get someone to clean the room. When I spoke to the housekeeping manager they kept saying we weren’t on the list. This was a major inconvenience.

Pros:

Clean, cool, welcoming. Rooms were nice.

Cons:

Restaurant-we ate here twice. Service very slow for dinner. Cheeseburger overcooked at dinner. Lunch was much better experience. Food overall pretty good though.

The entire properly was very clean and elevated. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Cons:

The lobby and hallways had a very intense perfume scent that people with allergies could have issues with. The room did not have this issue.

Nice, clean, comfy. Staff chatted with person ahead of me way to long. It was social convo and I had been waiting awhile
Pros:

Good location for anything on SUNY Stonybrook Campus. It is right on campus.

Cons:

It was very nice but it said they had a pool and a spa which I thought was a hot tub or jacuzzi but they didn’t have one.
