The hotel was clean and rooms were spacious. The staff
were most helpful and accommodating. The breakfast was splendid. My only dissatisfaction was that water temperature for shower was lukewarm. It was barely warm and you got out of shower, you were still a little chilled
Well I am travelling all over India, but never had a strange experience like this before. I have planned to stay at this hotel along with my girlfreind, but later we decided to give this room to my father.
The checkin was the worse part as hotel staff asked us questions like interrogating a terrorist. Infact, he was asking personal questions which is against professional ethics. My father stayed there for 4 days and his experience was not good. The breakfast was worse and they use to lie and take a lot of time to deliver it. They never clean the room on dails basis, which was really strange. The checkout was worse as nobody was there to collect the keys. There was a guy sleeping at the reception and it took us almost 10-15 minutes to wake him.
The hotel staff really needs to improve their bussiness ethics. I would not recommend anyone to book this hotel.
There are better hotels which are better, nice and much closer to Golden Temple.
It was a good stay.The Service provided by Hotel namaskar was also good.
This is a lovely hotel in a quieter part of town (20 min walk to Golden Temple).However Wifi generally didn't work and staff are quite difficult. We asked where the temple was and we were told 1,800r to get there, we walked for free. We asked about a bus station, we were told there was none, no buses in the whole of Amristar, only taxis (a complete lie). We got 2kilos of laundry done and they tried to charge us 650r, after a lot of discussions we paid 200r.
