Would stay here again.
Pros:

The front desk staff was very kind and accommodating. The room was clean and quiet. The outside looked a bit sketchy, but the inside was great. Yes, this is an older hotel that could use some authentic sprucing up, but we would stay here again. Breakfast was a bit thin. It would be nice if they would have more gluten free options.

Nice, comfortable stay
Pros:

Our stay was very pleasant, the rooms were clean, and it smelled fresh. The cost was more than reasonable, and the staff very helpful. There is no pool, however considering your at the lake, we didn’t mind that as well as the fact that the Edgewater is across the road if we really wanted to do something indoor.

Stayed one night, couldn’t imagine staying any longer

Parking Issues and Property Maintenance Concerns
Pros:

The night we stayed, the parking lot was completely full, and we had to park on the grass. Furthermore, there was a hotel-branded pickup truck in the lot containing what appeared to be food scraps; this attracted a significant number of squirrels and created an unsanitary environment in the parking area. Given these issues, I feel the stay was not a good value and hope to see these maintenance and capacity concerns addressed."

Quiet hotel, clean room, nice stay.
Pros:

We very much appreciated the manager's efforts on our behalf. On a busy weekend - fishing opener, commencements, Mother's Day - he was able to secure us a pack and play and a ground-floor room. The hotel was quiet, the room was clean, the water pressure in sink and shower were fantastic. The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of outlets to plug things into. The lamps' plugs had pass-through outlets, and I *really* appreciate those in hotel rooms. We would definitely stay here again.

Pros:

The price was reasonable and it was a good location being near the lake walk.

Cons:

Breakfast area was messy and the food scarce and only included some eggs, sausages, cereal and some yogurt.

There was a truck outside the door that had what appeared to be garbage in it and attracted many squirrels and seagulls. We had to walk by this every time we walked into the hotel.

The room was clean but the chair was stained and there was graffiti carved in the TP holder in the bathroom. The beds were really too hard.

Cons:

The overall vibe of the staff was very weird and not very welcoming. The guy who checked me in at the front desk acted kind of annoyed, barely made eye contact, and was wearing visibly dirty clothes. The housekeeping staff also looked very disheveled and gave off a weird energy.
