Pros:

Huge space and amazing views. Very Quiet.

Cons:

We were only provided with one key upon check-in. I went to reception to request a second key and was advised that only one key was available.

Later, my wife returned to the property to rest. As she had the only key, she left the garage door open so I could access the apartment. While she was lying down, she was woken by people walking inside our apartment and moving up and down the stairs. They had also reversed their vehicle into our garage.

My wife was understandably very shaken by the situation and locked herself in the bedroom until they left.

This distressing incident could have been avoided if we had been provided with a second key.

A lovely spot to take in the views of Yeppoon, and spend time with family. The kids loved the pool.

The location, however steps were difficult to climb especially with luggage

Cons:

Steps were not helpful. The bathroom wasn’t even clean. Also we had an issue with the a small part of the roof in the bathroom falling off midway through our stay.

Stunning Views and Amazing Staff, but dated facilities and noise issues
Pros:

The views from Villa Mar Colina are absolutely stunning while watching the parasailing, hearing the ocean, and taking in the scenery was a real highlight.
The location is great, though it is up a hill.
The staff, however, were exceptional and are a real credit to the business.

Cons:

Unfortunately, the nearby lookout seems to attract P‑platers at night, and the noise from cars made our first night very difficult.
We had an issue in the room, The afterhours staff member was wonderful: empathetic, helpful, and genuinely understanding. The on‑site staff the next day were also fantastic, attentive, responsive, and quick to address our concerns. Their service was the best part of our stay.
Sadly, the second night was even noisier. A neighbouring guest dragged chairs across the tiles for hours, which made it impossible to relax or sleep. We didn’t call after‑hours again, though in hindsight we should have.
The buildings are dated and in need of maintenance. The pool has broken tiles, and we had to be careful not to cut our feet. Combined with the noise and disrupted sleep, the overall experience wasn’t as enjoyable as we had hoped.
The staff, however, were exceptional and are a real credit to the business.

An excellent apartment for larger families, location and space best in Yeppoon, would recommend.
Pros:

Spacious, bright, easy access, staff were very helpful, outdoor terrace space was excellent, views incredible.

Cons:

Main AC In kitchen & living area wasn’t working, staff tried to fix, hot tub was also out of action, we were given monetary compensation, which was very kind.

Very old and run down could use some maintenance. View was spectacular.

No hot water for 24 hours after we were told hot water system was replaced and working, air conditioning in main bedroom leaked water all through the room.

Amazing spot of paradise in Yeppoon
Pros:

Value for money. Amazing view from the enormous balcony. Inside was clean, spacious and comfortable.

Cons:

There isnt much to not like, the only small things were the aircons left a lot of water on the balcony making it slippery. The garage in the unit we were in was tricky to get into and very steep.

We did not have any hot water on arrival, I had to contact the emergency number to get some feedback. Apparently, there was a changeover in the hot water service at the time of our stay., we were not notified of this prior to arrival and there was no note left to advise of this. Once the issue was identified we were only able to use the hot water service from 6-9 am and pm. If I had my family with me then this issue would be totally unacceptable.
