Definitely worth it, especially the breakfast.
Pros:

Stayed 2 nights and had a great experience. The breakfast was excellent, and the views were absolutely beautiful. The staff was amazing—friendly and very accommodating. Would definitely stay again!

Cons:

Only thing that was odd is that all of the room ac remotes were not in place. I'm assuming because of cold weather and use windows to get cool air.

Hakuba highland is nice to visit , but not convinced to repeated .
Pros:

Dinner and Breakfast is nice , we enjoyed . But the room is quite small compared to the price we paid . The view from my room are nothing , may be we select the wrong side . The public bath might need to improve for better quality and amenity.

Cons:

As said , the view on my room side are nothing . Amenity in the room and bath are very reluctant . I expected the local product , such as soap , lotion , etc , which used to be available in the public bath .

食事も良くなっていました．

Cons:

ロビーができて良かったです．ここで提案ですが，ロビーで白馬の山や地域の紹介ビデオを流してもらえませんか？英語が入っていると良いです．海外のお客さんと話してい，いろいろと知りたいことがおありだと感じました．

If you are looking for authentic with great views of Hakuba I’d recommen it.
Pros:

We booked here because my cousin wanted an authentic Japanese hotel. While hotel is a bit dated, to our surprise we actually had a lot of fun and really enjoyed the experience. The views are amazing. I’d recommend google translate when inquiring with the front desk if you don’t speak Japanese, but they are very nice and accommodating. Onsen was a hit for all even though the men in our group were a bit hesitant. I did enjoy the food in am. The food is very traditional but ease before the slopes was really nice. The recommended masseuse was wonderful. Our ‘cottage’ room was perfect for simple dinner in with the four of us.

Cons:

Outdated throughout but it is clean and comfortable. I loved our newer cottage unit.
