Overall lovely!
Pros:

Rooms were spacious and clean, Breakfast had a good selection, and the food was good. The staff were helpful, and most were very friendly and welcoming!

Cons:

Food quality for the next two meals has to improve, after the great breakfast, it kinda goes down from there. Not so tasty.
The Bar could do with a better selection of Gins. These days we have a lovely selection of Indian brands that are world-renowned.
Some Staff were a bit glum. Happy faces make for a happy experience.

TV useless. Rest fantastic
Pros:

Very comfortable and hospitable. The pool was really amazing. Food was great as well.

Cons:

For a 5 star hotel, the TV came with no channels and everything needed some kind of subscription which we didn't have. Also it didn't have any streaming options which made TV amenity useless for us. Surprising for a 5 star hotel.

Cons:

I appreciate the effort that has gone into modernizing the hotel and maintaining the property. However, my overall experience did not meet the expectations of a 5-star hotel.

From the moment we arrived, there was no warm welcome, and the hospitality felt lacking. Many of the staff appeared inexperienced and insufficiently trained, which affected the quality of service throughout our stay.

The dining experience was particularly disappointing. Our food order arrived much later than expected, and there seemed to be significant confusion among the restaurant staff regarding service and order management. Better coordination and staff training would greatly improve the guest experience.

While the hotel has been beautifully modernized, it seems to have lost much of the Tamil cultural identity that guests may hope to experience during their stay. Incorporating more local culture into the hotel's atmosphere would make the experience more authentic and memorable.

Additionally, we felt that guests were treated differently, which created an uncomfortable impression. Consistent, fair, and welcoming service for every guest is essential for a hotel of this standard.

I hope the management will take this feedback constructively and invest in staff training, service consistency, and preserving the local cultural character. These improvements would help the hotel deliver the level of hospitality expected from a true 5-star property.

Excellent stay with great service, clean rooms, and delicious food. I would happily stay here again.
Pros:

Overall, my stay was fantastic. The hotel was very clean, the room was comfortable, and the food was delicious. The staff were friendly and provided excellent service throughout my stay.

Cons:

The only area that could be improved is the mattress. It felt too soft and sank in the middle, which made it less comfortable for sleeping.
