Corporate style but fine for travellers
Pros:

A very modern and seemingly Corporate style hotel. Brilliant and exceptionally helpful staff. Rooms totally modern with really well thought out power and light switches. So many hotels have that elusive ‘how do I turn that off’ light! We tended to choose the À la Carte menu and the portions were generous and well prepared; not huge fans of buffet food other than breakfast, which was excellent.

Cons:

The pool area is really confusing. On our first 2-days we were allowed drinks there but on the 3rd, we were denied. All it would have taken would be some plastic glasses!! There are just x4 loungers, none with tables - I got the feeling the pool was a cosmetic amenity which was not expected to be used by guests and certainly not to be enjoyed in the normal style of a pool area!

We found the bar secluded and totally unwelcoming.

The courteous staff. The quiet rooms. Had a good night's rest. Stay was too short to add more.

Cons:

As we had a 95 year old with us, the walk from the lift to the room was a bit long. But that is not your fault. So it's ok

The Best Hotel in the City
Pros:

One of the best hotels in town and their breakfast is to die for. If you like south Indian food, you will not be dissapointed. The staff are very polite and they go above and beyond to please the guest. This hotel is well known for hosting the elite but they still provide the best service to ordinary folks like us. Our suite that we booked was not available but the management apologised and did go out their way to make our stay exceptional. Also last year when we stayed I mentioned that the showers were very slippery and were a fall risk and this year I was pleasantly surprised to see rubber non slip mats in the showers. To take feedback from customers seriously and to implement it shows they value their guests opinions. Overall a great hotel to stay and definitely worth repeating
