Pico Sands Hotel

Dear Pico Sands Hotel Management,

I would like to formally file a complaint regarding the treatment we received from one of your receptionists, Ms. Mary/Mery, during our stay at Pico Sands Hotel from August 20–22, 2026.

My family has been celebrating our children’s birthdays at Pico Sands Hotel since our child’s first birthday. It has always been one of our family’s favorite places, which is why we chose to celebrate another birthday there this year.

For this stay, we booked two loft-type rooms worth approximately ₱68,000 and two additional rooms worth approximately ₱19,000, for a total of almost ₱90,000. Unfortunately, despite being paying hotel guests, we were not treated with the level of courtesy and respect that we expected.

Our relatives and guests, some of whom were first-time visitors to Pico Sands, were repeatedly stopped, questioned, and followed by Ms. Mary/Mery at the main entrance even though they were registered guests and were wearing the appropriate guest tags for the duration of our three-day stay. She repeatedly questioned them every day and even approached them at the main entrance as if they were unauthorized visitors or people who had simply paid an entrance fee. This was extremely embarrassing and uncomfortable for my guests.

We also had friends who were staying in the condominiums and were members of Pico. Whenever Ms. Mary/Mery saw us talking to them, she seemed to assume that they were extra hotel guests and repeatedly confronted or questioned us, despite there being no basis for such accusations.

Instead of being able to relax and enjoy our family celebration, we spent a significant amount of our stay feeling frustrated, embarrassed, and uncomfortable. What made this even more upsetting is that some of our guests are senior citizens and persons with disabilities.

There was also an issue regarding the complimentary breakfast.

Consistently good accomodations, hospitable staff and well maintained facilities! Commending PICO restaurant staff Joy for her attentive and cheerful service :)

The food was delicious, the Pasta Alfredo had much sauce and was very creamy and tasty, while the Club Cheeseburger was exceptionally juicy and was quite tender. However, the food came very late, and it took around 15-20 minutes to come, and the portions did not reflect on the price, 650 for a simple cheeseburger, and 600 for Pasta Alfredo is not a reasonable price. The dining room was peaceful and well-lit. The staff was also very kind, especially Nhycos and Angeline as they offered a complimentary hot lemon water to her because she could not drink cold water. Overall, we enjoyed the food, the customer service was good, but the portions could be larger and the serving time should be shorter.

Aaron served us well. Excellent. Great food and experience.

More food choices are needed especially Filipino Cuisine.

Suzeth and Marilyn were the best! It was my wifes birthday and we came in late... since there was no more available cake, they made an effort to have their special turon dessert as an alternative (with a candle). Great service!

Been here a lot of times and it’s really a great place for family! We also had our delicious meal at Lagoa Restaurant. Kudos to our server, Ma’am Marilyn for serving our food. She also gave our kids, free toys.

Our 4th time to stay at the Pico Sands Hotel in Pico de Loro, and once again everything about it was fantastic! All of the hotel, room cleaners, pool, and beach staff are so friendly and helpful.

I especially wish to point out JM at the front desk who was so helpful from the minute we arrived until the end of our 5 day stay! He was
smart, kind, and friendly with everything and just great!!

One last thing, the breakfast buffet is huge, varied and fresh, and the several bars and restaurants are fantastic too!

Our team had an amazing experience at Pico Sands. Kristine D. was helpful and has assisted us with our needs during our breakfast. The room is cozy, the beach is beautiful and we had a blast at their billiards and bowling room.

Wonderful place, in 2025 we visited for first time. It was our second time and we're back because everything here reflects genuine care for your guests. You have an exceptional team!

Peace and quiet achieved! Clean rooms, courteous staff, and great service. Fun activities to do in the area as well. Delicious and healthy food options available. We had an excellent stay!

The restaurant had a good selection of different cuisines and the staff was very friendly

My friend and I signed up for the massage. Maricor and Marisol were our masseuses. Oh my they did a wonderful and professional job! I can’t recommend them more! Definitely a wonderful experience!

There was no halal meat but the other food was exquisite. 🥰🥰
