A wonderful place to stay. A really friendly, welcoming hotel. I will return.
Pros:

Great location, quiet even though in the heart of Thamel. Always a warm friendly greeting, coming down to the lovely buffet breakfast in the beautiful courtyard garden. Staff so friendly. Mookx the manager goes to great lengths to ensure everything ok, really cares for his customers. Excellent food in the restaurant garden, very reasonable prices.

A Very Good Hotel
Pros:

Geweldig en gastvrij!
Pros:

Wat een geweldig verblijf heb ik hier gehad! Uiteindelijk heb ik nog twee nachten bijgeboekt. Ik heb me nog nooit zo thuis gevoeld in een hotel. De manager was ontzettend vriendelijk, liet me Kathmandu zien achterop de scooter en hielp me met alles wat ik nodig had. De kamers zijn fijn en ik kijk er nu al naar uit om terug te komen. Dank je wel voor alles!

Amazing Hospitality
Pros:

Hotel Buddha was the highlight of our time in Kathmandu. From the moment we booked, the owner, Mookx, went out of his way to help and accommodate us. He is an incredibly kind and generous host, and we're so thankful for everything he did for us.

The staff were attentive and helpful, and their local advice went well beyond what we expected. Our rooms were clean and well prepared, and the buffet breakfast was excellent: fresh, delicious and varied.

We'll be staying at Hotel Buddha on every future trip to Kathmandu, and we can't wait to come back.
