The staff at Hotel Buddah were fantastic, starting from breakfast and assisting with anything else (taxi to airport etc) as needed. It is quite a noisy area, which you can hear through the windows at night. Felt slightly unsafe walking around once dark but lovely and popular tourist spot during the day.

Staff are the best, very very helpful. No hot water is difficult for us Westerners. I found out that the Airport shuttle is no longer available since Covid.

Central location reasonably priced the walls and floors are thin so you will hear outside noises and hall noises
manager was very amenable and try to make people feel comfortable

The staff was extremely helpful and kind. The manager was particularly attentive.

I had emailed ahead of time asking about the airport shuttle and received a quick response mentioning that they were no longer operating that.

I'll also note that they were kind enough to securely store some small luggage for us for ~1 week while we were trekking.

The location is great, price is great, staff are freindly, clean, free breakfast. Highly recommended for the price.

My room was very clean and the bed comfortable.

The Hotel Manager and the hotel stuff were very kind and helpful.

The service provided was Not exactly as described, Breakfast was good but there was No shuttle service from airport when I arrived at 4 pm. Room was clean and tidy, sufficient hot and cold water. TV was Not working overall good.

Staff didn’t have the room key at the counter, I had to wait outside the room until another staff brought key to open the door.
There was no hot water, only one power plug which would not for to international chargers.

This hotel does a great job and making sure you are happy being here. From breakfast to getting the tv cable channels that are available in English. Nothing is too much trouble. I’ll be back while I’m in Nepal.

From the moment I entered the front door I knew I was welcome. I had traveled all night to get to Kathmandu and needed coffee and 5 minutes to gather myself. The kind gentleman bought me coffee and said when I was ready that so was my room. I checked in and the rest of the stay was as great as my check in. Thank you Hotel Buddha.

This was my 2nd stay in Hotel Buddha. I love this hotel with amazing staffs and offcourse I love the breakfasts they serve in the morning.

My partner and I stayed her in January 2020 for a bit over a week. Overall the property wasnt bad but the rooms are tired. I noticed the windows arent sealed so noise and the weather can easily seep through. This wasnt great as there is construction work on both sides of the hotel (but I can hardly blame them for that). The breakfast was exceptional and the staff were brilliant, so I woupd probably go back.

I had a great stay and the staff are very helpful and courteous. The hotel is situated at the upper end of Thamel which is more quiet and has less traffic than the rest of the area.
The hotel is within walking distance of good restaurants, bars, pubs and atm's.
The hotel offers a good breakfast and luggage storage service.
I had a great stay!
