We had a wonderful stay at Llanerch Staff food and room.were all excellent
Everything was exceptional
We had a beautiful room (304), a very big room with 180 degree view, very quiet and private. The room was immaculate with very good quality furnishings and carpets. King size bed which was very comfortable, very good linens and towels. Even thought it was a shower over the bath, both the shower and bath worked well operated by easy to reach buttons on the side wall.
We ate in the restaurant in the evening, the food and the service were excellent and it was reasonably priced.
We had breakfast again there was a good choice and the breakfast room was very pleasant with open views.
The buffet breakfast could be kept better stocked especially if you get there 30 minutes before the end time. Maybe it would have been nice to have fresh milk in the bedroom fridge and a more generous supply of biscuits.
Food and wine was excellent. Really pleasant venue
No issues at all
The room was nice and modern with a comfy bed, and tea/coffee making facilities. We ate breakfast in the restaurant, though a little expensive at £20 per person, it was good quality. We had a dessert and a selection of 75ml 'tasters' of the winery's produce in the evening all of which were very nice.
We stayed on a warm night (warm not hot) and found the room really hot. If you're staying in summer a superior room with air con is probably a good idea. There is a pool table in the bar area. If you fancy a game make sure it's before 9pm, as it is covered over and breakfast set up on it. Bit disappointed that we weren't told in advance.
To arrive to hotel is very easy, good signs find on the road and really good looking place to stay and enjoy
Accomodation is very decent, clean, confortable furnuture and very well mantain, almost like new
Ana, the girl who gives wine tasting is excellent, very smooth presentation, easy to understand and very funny, i think she is the best from all the staff
Regarding wine tasting, i think is important to have a proper glass for each wine and may be add an soarkling wine to the tasting.
Terrible attitude from staff, unfortunately I dont have names and i apologize in advance for the way I will describe.
There is a lack of hospitality, we just got a nice experience with one nice girl at reception, she is thin and no glasses.
Other than that, the guy and the girl whith a full-figured and glasses dont even made eye contact with any guest, dont greet the guest… we will always say hello as we needed to pass through the reception if we want it to go anywhere, sometimes they would replied, some others not a word but never greet first.
I think is important to show some interest in your guest, as the reception is the first contact with the hotel, so they could ask where are you come from?, how we find the place? Simple things to make the first impression more welcoming.
We did not get all information regarding lunch and dinner time or reservations, we did a reservation for 2 adults, my teen son was with us at the time of check in but he was not staying with is at the hotel as we were driving him to his summer camp. So the first thing this girl say was that extra bed in our room was not allow… instead of treat the whole situation different, may be asking if we made a mistake with number of people, not assuming something in negative way.
I hope my review wont be taking as bad as it sounds, it is just a feedback that i think would be great for the gorlleous hotel you have that the staff is more involve in hospitality and greeting guest.
Ghsnks
Friendly staff, excellent food and great venue
Location
I wanted to sit inside to have my dinner, but because I had the wrong day the staff member sat us outside which made my food go cold even though there was plenty of seats inside!!
attended a wedding and stayed the night
nothing
Location. Beautiful views. Quiet. Luxury.
Nothing!
We acknowledge that the weather was particularly warm, however, the Dyson floor cooling unit only just coped during the evenings we were in the room and was too noisy to operate at night, so the room became uncomfortably hot. Additionally, the bathroom extractor fan didn't work so the bathroom was a bit like a sauna. All in all, a bit of work required to make the rooms work in warm to hot conditions.
Lovely views across the vineyard,
Double bed. I’m used to a super king so a double felt like a single!
