A pleasant stay
Pros:

Location - it’s quite far from the station. And taxis are €15.

Good - large room that was reasonably clean and lovely. The desk and the luggage area probably need a deep clean in case of the luggage area and a replacement in terms of the desk which was looking tired. I did like the luggage holder though - it had a place for shoes under it - it had just seen better days.

Bed was very comfortable as were the pillows.

Front desk were incredibly helpful and kind on every occasion I needed to talk to them - I still think back to how kind the gentlemen was even a few months later!

I had a room with the view over the bay, and it was a lovely view.

Not so good - there is no fan or air con that I could make out so it was quite warm at times.

The road out the front seems to attract people with LOUD speakers blaring music. I’m not sure how common an experience this was. But it certainly disturbed my sleep and enjoyment of the room the night I stayed.

Weird - the lights need a PhD to operate.

Practicals -full 5 bars of 5g on Tim and Vodafone.

I didn't have breakfast so cannot comment on that.

The Hotel provided a shuttle to the station for €15.

If I were in Catanzaro Lido again, I would for sure return here.

Greit hotell, men personalet er ikke et 4-stjerners hotell verdig.
Pros:

Frokosten var ok, men personalet særdeles uhøflig og arrogant. Kelneren himlet med øynene, ryddet av bordet vårt uten at vi var ferdige med eks kaffen ( og det var ikke nær stengetid!). Hun fikk oss til å føle oss til bry! Svært ubehagelig!

Cons:

Rommet var dårlig rengjort da vi kom. Dette var det beste ( og derfor dyreste) rommet på dette 4stjerners hotellet, og jeg forventer da at det var rengjort ved ankomst. Jeg tok bilde av hår og skitt på gulv og viste dette i resepsjonen. Resepsjonisten ble fornærmet over at jeg klaget! Jeg er overrasket over at 4stjerners hotell har personalet som ikke er opplært i hvordan takle klager! Én av fire resepsjonister vi møtte tiltalte oss med den imøtekommenhet og service jeg forventer i et 4-stjerners hotell.Dette var Luciano, han var serviceminded, smilende og hyggelig. De andre smilte stivt og virket sure, muligens fordi vi hadde klaget på renholdet ved ankomst. Lite profesjonelt. Én av to kelnere i frokostsalen det samme. Jeg vil få nevne at jeg har gått på hotellhøyskole og har erfaring fra bransjen.

Avrei voluto trovare il sigillo igienico sul water e avrei voluto un cuscino più alto, ce n'erano 2 bassi.

Ottimo Hotel sul lungomare
Pros:

Ottimo hotel sul lungomare di Catanzaro Lido. Parcheggio interno non enorme ma comunque utilizzabile. Colazione di altissima qualita sia per il dolce che per il salato
