Firstly staff was great,Location was good.BUT OVERALL WORST PLACE SO OLD TOILET DIRTY ROOM AND TINY TINY ROOM

The exterior looked old, very different from the picture, the staff was always there to help you, the room was ok, it is very convenient to get to the beach

Bad hotel, really small hotel. Dirty & broken beds. No shower door. AC not working well.

It was my 1st Phuket visit since C19. More less 5years had gone.

I usually stay in Soi Sansabai. I always seen Red Planet as a good location hotel. Situated near to Muslim quarter at Parabamee Road.

Actually it is a good location for starting a morning run/stroll on the beach.. go anti clock wise.. go for beach, turned into Burasari Hard Rock road, then central road.. do 3round for good calory burned.. then only go for bfast at HAWA or any food stalls that operate near the mosque..

Red Planet. I was given 2nd flr. Room is facing back of other building (I have seen the worst window view in Soi Sansabai..). All the receptionists are very helpful.. I check in on 5th July, check out on 7th.. actually my mistake for not planning thoroughly. I should have extended my stay..

Rooms is small but good for 2 backpackers staying. Got hanger, towel & E safe box. Everything good. Pillow, blanket, bed.. all is 4star rating.. but the room price is 3star.. God.. what a bargain. No smoking ya.. now they got Turkish Restaurant at grd floor, on same building. Due to time restriction I did not sample it.

P/s: I had asked, no joiner fee for those who want to bring Ur friend to the room. BUT, u must declared 2 persons during booking. As usual, ID must be left at the counter for safety reasons.

Hotel was decent.

A 1 star hostel would have been cleaner!
Just disgusting! As soon as we checked in and went into the rooms, we immediately noticed dirt and filth everywhere, from the elevator to inside our rooms.
The rooms were so small that our luggages did not fit in and would have to open them on the bed.
The bathroom had stained toilet seat and hair everywhere. Bedsheets were stained with something blood-like and other human fluids (iykyk). Holes in the bedsheets everywhere. There was no closet aside from a rack with 3 hangers .
Lobby was something horrible, the exterior is not what the pictures show.
We immediately checked out and our stay in that “””hotel””” lasted 20 mins (and of course we had to find another place to stay)
Do not go there!

Clean & tidy room, very friendly and helpful staff.
Location is close enough to bangla road you can walk, but far enough that you don’t hear music all night long.

All local facilities close by.

Have stayed in Patong many times with many hotels being plausible at best.

Red planet is clean, comfy, cheap and convenient if you like a simple hotel

An absolute nightmare. Checked in and out of this hotel within 10 minutes. Filthy, unsafe not even a bottle of water in the room. Cancelled the reservation and they still charged us for 2 nights. Any positive review of this hotel would be fraudulent.

A nice simple room with a comfy bed. Very small room but enough to have a nice sleep in.

Air conditioning was broken, and they lied that it was fixed. Bed linen was dirty as well

this hotel is a joke, air-cone was hardly working, sleep quality- none. windows facing the road. few minutes from the beach.
only use it as a short stay hotel when you take a ..... for fun.

Would highly recommend this hotel when staying in Patong, room is comfy and staff were great. Ideal location, 5 minute walk from the beach and near lots of good food places. Hotel was clean and staff fixed any problems quickly

It was a pleasant experience at the Red Planet Phuket Hotel. The price was good. The location was convenient, 5 mins walk to Patong Beach, 15 mins walk to Bangla Road and many restaurants, cafes massage shops, laundry and tour companies around the hotel. The hotel staff were very kind, helpful and polite.

I stayed for one week in a double room for my 'quarantine' in Phuket. The location is good, only a 10 min walk from Patong Beach and probably 15 min away from the main stretch of bars and restaurants in Patong. The room was clean, the staff were friendly, and the shower was good. However, the room was very small - there was no wardrobe and barely space to walk around once my bags were in the room as there was nowhere to store them. There was also only one plug socket in the entire room and the WiFi was pretty average. For $25/night there is absolutely no way this was good value for money.
