There are hotels that deliver on standards, and then there are those that quietly go beyond them in ways you only truly appreciate when you leave. My stay at Crowne Plaza Madinah was firmly the latter. From the moment I arrived, there was a noticeable sense of care that didn’t feel procedural. As an IHG Diamond member, I’ve come to expect a certain level of recognition, but here it felt more personal than transactional. Room 820 became more than just a place to rest, it felt considered, prepared, and genuinely looked after. The room itself was exceptionally comfortable, the kind of space where everything simply works without you needing to think about it. After long hours at the Haram, that level of comfort matters more than one might expect. What stood out most, however, was the consistency. Housekeeping and room service were not only prompt but meticulous, always attentive without ever being intrusive. It’s a difficult balance, and they managed it effortlessly. The lounge deserves a special mention. Calm, well-kept, and thoughtfully run, it provided a welcome space to pause and reset. The team there carried the same tone as the rest of the hotel, warm, respectful, and quietly attentive. Nothing felt rushed, and nothing felt overlooked. And then there is the location. Being so close to the Haram changes the entire experience of Madinah. It removes the friction, allowing you to focus on why you are truly there. That proximity, combined with the comfort of returning to a place that feels settled and cared for, made a meaningful difference to my stay. What Crowne Plaza Madinah does well is not loud or overdone. It’s the accumulation of small, consistent acts of diligence and care that stay with you. In a city that already carries so much weight and meaning, having a hotel that understands its role in that experience is something I won’t forget.

The location is very close to services and within walking distance of the Prophet's Mosque. The hotel has a calm and wonderful atmosphere, and the rooms have a lovely scent. The rooms are spacious and varied, ranging from two to four beds, and family suites are well-maintained and clean. The staff is wonderful and helpful, the food is excellent, the buffet is superb, and the welcoming atmosphere is exceptional. I highly recommend it. The price is very reasonable considering the services and for a hotel belonging to the InterContinental group. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this fantastic hotel, and it won't be our first or last time.

We had a pleasant stay at the hotel, with very professional service from the staff. I would especially like to thank Jihan, the Public Relations Manager, for her genuine care throughout our stay. The location is excellent, with easy access to Al Haram as well as nearby food and shopping options.

As a small suggestion, a bit more attention to cleanliness would further enhance the experience. The property does show its age, and the room—particularly the bathroom—felt quite small for a 4 star hotel.

Overall, we appreciated the hospitality and the convenience the hotel offers.

I had a wonderful experience at this hotel. Everything was clean, comfortable, and very well organized. The atmosphere was welcoming, and the staff made us feel at home from the moment we arrived.

I came all the way from New York, and I was very tired when I arrived. A very special thank you to Amnah — she was so welcoming and helped me a lot. She was kind, friendly, and generous, and she made sure I felt comfortable right away. Her warm attitude and care truly made a big difference in my stay.

They are excellent and assets for the hotel. Room service was great. Cleanliness was up to the mark. I would love to stay again and again. They communicated with me prior to my arrival. Upon arrival, not only did they accommodated my check-in requirements very smoothly, but being IHG Sliver Elite member, they also followed up with all requirements after moving-in and ensured all requirements are accommodated.

I like also to extend my appreciation to Miss Bayda in Housing Keeping, and in general all staff were very helpful and friendly…

Last but not least, especial thanks to Mr Chadlie and the rest of his team for their personal attention, dedication, and kind services in the restaurant area. They ensured that all requirements are met and made our stay very memorable.

lovely stay at this place and would like to give a massive shout out to two special customer service staff:

1st - Maysan who helped me with a room change due to being put in a room that was too big for us - Maysan went above and beyond to deal with my query, she signposted me after our initial interaction so I knew what time to make further contact and she recognised that i was stressed and anxious and calmed me down by treating me as an individual, not just another customer (456) she will understand if she ever see's this ❤️

2nd - Aminah who delivered exceptional 100/100 customer service for me after she was assigned to complete the room change. Aminah showed a lot of empathy, fully made sure I was happy with the room and also offered extra help to make sure all my luggage and belongings were safely transported to the new room ❤️

I would actually go as far as saying that thanks to these 2 special young ladies I would definitely be returning to this hotel purely because the customer service that I received was definitely 5*!

From start to finish, the service was exceptional. We were greeted warmly by Amna Kahlid and Omar Ahsan and seated promptly. Our server, was the highlight of the evening—attentive without being intrusive, incredibly knowledgeable about the menu, and had fantastic recommendations.
What truly impressed us was how they handled a small issue with our drink order; it was corrected immediately and with genuine apology, which shows a real commitment to customer satisfaction. The ambiance was perfect, and the entire team worked seamlessly. This wasn't just a meal; it was a memorable experience. We'll be back for sure and have already told our friends!
