The K Lodge was ideal for our visit to Mount Rushmore. Will definitely recommend!
Pros:

Nice place to stay for visiting Mount Rushmore. Loved Keystone, too. The lodge is very quiet, clean, well-serviced, comfortable and definitely delivered what I wanted!

Cons:

A proper tavern / bar would have been nice, as well as a pool.

Geweldig hotel op A-locatie: absoluut genieten!
Pros:

Fantastische locatie: toen we 's ochtends wakker werden en de ochtendmist was weggetrokken, zagen we Mount Rushmore vanuit onze kamer (zijkant gezicht). Ook liep er een aantal keer hertjes voor de kamer langs. De lobby is echt een lekkere lodge om 's avonds nog even te chillen terwijl de kinderen naar bed zijn. Restaurant en ontbijt zijn eenvoudig maar prima. We hadden eigenlijk verwacht in een wat ouder hotel te komen, en gedacht dat het wel aan wat onderhoud toe zou zijn, maar dat was niet het geval: alles zag er pico bello uit. Locatie was maar een paar minuutjes rijden van Mount Rushmore, net buiten het dorp Keystone (geweldig, niet alleen voor motorrijders).

Cons:

Nou, eigenlijk niets - we waren echt voor de volle 100% tevreden. Enige puntje is hetzelfde voor elk hotel in Amerika, namelijk dat de bedden (voor ons Europeanen) verrassend smal zijn. Europese bedden zijn breder, ook als ze dezelfde naam hebben (bijv. queen bed is breder in Europa dan in Amerika). Maar dit staat echt los van deze locatie, want wij waren superblij hier!

Mount Rushmore view
Pros:

Good size room. Good water pressure and plenty of hot water.
The location was great, and we had a view of Mount Rushmore. The property was big enough to take a decent walk, and there was no passing traffic, making it very peaceful.

Cons:

Nothing was to our dislike. We'd definitely stay here again.

It was a very nice facility. The room was good size bedroom comfortable. Staff was helpful. It was in a good location. Didn’t spend much time at the lodge was out sightsee and most time would recommend this facility

Pros:

Bellissima struttura in un bellissimo contesto.
Lo staff è molto gentile e disponibile, la camera bella e spaziosa, ma soprattutto con una vista stupenda.

Not what I expected for the money.
Pros:

The location in the mountains was fantastic.

Cons:

The pictures made it look nicer and newer than it actually was. We also paid a premium price indicating we would get what we saw in the pictures but we didn’t. They told us it was a 5 star experience for a 3 star hotel but we later found 4 star hotels for a much cheaper price

Pros:

Well worth the stay when visiting Mt. Rushmore
Pros:

Close proximity to Mt. Rushmore. You can see the presidents from the hotel.

Cons:

Rooms were on the small side. Not a lot of amenities. Dated decor. Tiny television sets.

We were delighted with the surroundings and the views, and came away very pleased and satisfied.
Pros:

Location was ideal, close to Mt. Rushmore but isolated and quiet. Food in the Pub was excellent, as was the service. For anyone looking for a place to relax and be catered to, this was ideal!

Cons:

Our room was not as spacious as we would have liked, but typical for a hotel room.

Pros:

Nice hotel. However there was a wedding that took over the firepit and heavy foot traffic and door slamming next to our room. Kinda wished we had a chance to enjoy the scenery with the kids but there was too many intoxicated people. Other than that i would of rated them a 10.

Would of changed my dates if they told me an event was booked
