Exceptional location, spacious well equipped apartment, comfortable beds, outstanding view, safe car parking space with an elevator inside the building.
Communication with the host was quite disappointing. After completing the registration, I was given the opportunity to choose the exact apartment from eight available options. I selected Apartment 244 on the 18th floor because of its view of Koopgoot, Markthal, and the surrounding area, and the host confirmed my choice.
However, upon arrival, I was assigned Apartment 232 on the 17th floor, located on the different side of the building with a completely different view. The host explained that this was due to a system error. While this may not seem like a major issue, the apartment I had chosen was important to me, so it was disappointing not to receive the one that had been confirmed.
Die Lage war schön...
Das es keine Klimaanlage gab , und das Schlafsofa überhaupt nicht zum Schlafen geeignet war....
Midden in het centrum.
De thermostaat werkte niet. Was erg warm/benauwd

Sauberkeit
Locatie
Het was ontzettend warm, personeel erg onbeschoft. Nachtportier ook. Geen goede service
The location
Rooms are not at all how they are shown, inbad need of repairs and renovations
Amazing location , family friendly place , amazing view from the room
Alles!!!!
De ligging, personeel en accommodatie zelf, zeer ruime familiekamer/appartement
Hygiëne, mag iets beter gepoetst worden
The rooms had no AC, they provided ventilators who did not work properly and were dirty. In this heat it was impossible to sleep without AC and having such poor ventilators. The hotel should provide proper ventilators for the summer. I asks for refund to go to another hotel with AC but they refused to give me the refund, however the staff was friendly and tried to give extra ventilators, but the ventilators as such were not providing good air.
The location and the views are incredible and overall the stay was decent. The furniture is interesting and unique, the open plan feels very spacious. With a kid it was nice to have all that space.
We had read the recent google maps reviews and knew that customers complained about the state of the apartments (aging and in need of upkeep/maintenance, and a good deep clean). So having read this we knew what to expect and there was no surprises there. The staff was also helpful and kind - so this did not match some of the complaints we read, which was nice.
For the value and the photos/marketing you expect a little more attention to details like cleanliness and maintenance. The space gives the impression that it once was more luxurious and that time and footfall have taken their toll. The whole building could probably benefit from a deeper clean and maintenance event. For example: if you move furniture you can see that things have not been cleaned in some time under and behind things, there are stains on the walls in the bathroom that a little bleach or paint job could fix), some things are cracked (like the shower floor), and some things don't really work (the shower handles come off, a few plug sockets and lights/lamps don't work, the safe was not working when we first got there - but the staff then fixed, etc).
Notably the apartments don't have AC - so it got really hot during out stay. We slept with the patio door wide open, and with soaked cold towels over us.
There was one situation that was quite upsetting - although I have to give credit to the staff who dealt with it appropriately and kindly. At 1 and 1:30 in the morning 2 separate people came into our room with keys that worked. This really startled us, especially because we had a small child with us, so we decided to barricade ourselves in the room by pushing some furniture against the door in order to sleep. We called reception and explained the situation, they were kind and understanding and also very confused. They explain that two separate errors had occurred that led to two separate guests having been issued keys to our room. Coincidentally they both tried to access our room within 30 minutes of each other, so were in fact 2 separate incidents. They wiped those cards and reset our cards also. They apologised.
