Pros:

Wir waren die einzigen Gäste auf der riesigen Anlage. Das Frühstück war begrenzt und wenig umfangreich. Zimmer sind teilweise in schlechter Verfassung. Im Badezimmer war es sehr kalt, weil das vorher vorhandene Fenster einfach fehlte.
Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmte gar nicht. Man bezahlt viel und bekommt wenig.
Zumindest waren die Mitarbeiter sehr freundlich.

Un bon choix pour un stop d’une nuit en arrivant de Windoek et en partante vers le nord. Mais il n’y a pas grand chose à faire dans les alentours...

Tip für erste bzw. letzte Nacht in Namibia
Pros:

Grosse, gepflegte Anlage. 2 Pools, auch zum Schwimmen geeignet. Freundliches Personal. Gutes Frühstück und Abendbuffet. Ideal für erste Nacht nach Flug oder letzte Nacht vor Flug. Kleiner Minuspunkt - ca. 50 km bis zu Asphaltstrassen, aber recht gut befahrbar.

Pros:

alles bestens, tolle Anlage, nur die Anreise war etwas mühsam via Okahandja, aber diese Strassen sind normal in Namibia.

Pros:

I really enjoyed it - the staff were very friendly and helpful. It was our last three nights of our vacation so just hanging out suited us and it is just about an hours drive to the Windhoek airport. I don't think I would include it as part of your Namibian vacation experience - expensive compared to other places, quite run down, and not much to do in the area. They offer game drives but the guide knew about as much as we did. It is a beautiful location.

Etwas abgelegen für Zwischenübernachtung
Pros:

Nachdem wir nach 60 km rauher Wellblechpiste angekommen waren, mussten wir 10 Minuten in der leeren Rezeption warten. Mit „What do you want“ wurden wir begrüßt. Als das vorbereitete Check-in-Formular (es lag nur noch ein anderes vor) ausgefüllt war, wurde uns mit einer Handbewegung das Zimmer gezeigt und die Essenzeiten gesagt – kein Begrüßungsgetränk, keine Führung im Hotelbereich. Leider hatte unser Zimmer als Aussicht nur die Pferdekoppel und den Gang.
Das Angebot zum Dinner war sehr eingeschränkt. Es gab je drei Vorspeisen, Hauptgerichte und Desserts zur Auswahl, kein Buffet. Da wir zwei Nächte blieben, konnten wir wenigstens tagsüber die sehr schönen Annehmlichkeiten am Pool und in der sehr gepflegten Anlage genießen. Schade, wir hatten uns den Abschluss unserer Reise nach den tollen Erfahrungen in den anderen Lodges, auch im Schwesterhotel Mokuti Lodge, anders vorgestellt.

Peaceful, quiet setting - step back in time
Pros:

Drive there is quite a challenge, dusty and long, but well worth it with a warm face cloth and a cool drink that awaits you on your arrival. Beautiful estate with a lot of history. Need some upgrading in certain areas eg. the recreational room but they are currently busy with renovations. The dinner hall was spectacular and so was the buffet dinner and breakfast. Rooms were comfortable and clean. The staff very friendly and helpful.

Ruhige Oase inmitten der Wüste
Pros:

Sehr angenehmes Hotel mit bestem Service. Gute Freizeitmöglichkeiten: Tischtennis Volleyball, Wandern, Safari, Etwa 50 Autominuten bis zum Flughafen Windhoek.
